3 Woodford House is a cosy and comfortable town house set in a quiet and tucked away corner, close to the centre of the Sussex seaside town of Bognor Regis. Within walking distance of the many facilities and amenities the town centre has to offer, the house is ideal for those looking for the convenience of such a location, but would also like to be able to escape to a holiday home hidden away in a quiet corner.
Approached via a private gravelled drive, 3 Woodford House has parking for 2 cars directly in front of the house. There is a living room with a dining area which overlooks the attractive private rear garden. The kitchen, although quite compact, offers all the facilities one would need. This includes an oven with gas hob, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a microwave.
On the first floor, the master bedroom has good storage and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and there is also a family bathroom. Outside, the attractive rear garden is a lovely spot to sit out and enjoy a good book, an al fresco meal or a drink in the sunshine.
"Comfortable, convenient and clean. My partner and I had a lovely stay at this house with our 15 month old daughter. The garden is just the right size for a little one to explore and the house is kept very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The stairs are rather steep for children but you just need to watch them, so that wasn't a problem. My daughter loved the elephant theme."
Bognor Regis is a traditional seaside town located in the heart of the south coast of England. It mixes traditional features, such as its pier, with modern amenities including the Butlins holiday resort. The town centre is within easy walk of 3 Woodford House, separated from the house by Hotham Park, a public park that has seen much investment in recent years. The popular beach at Bognor Regis has been a draw to the area for decades and retains much of the sea front character associated with great English resorts.
The historic cathedral cities of Chichester and Arundel are both within a 15 to 20 minute drive and offer a wide range of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. A little further along the coast to the west is the city of Portsmouth, home to the British Navy and boasting such attractions as the Mary Rose and HMS Victory. Along the coast to the east is the cosmopolitan city of Brighton, with a wealth of independent shops and lively night life.
To the north can be found the South Downs National Park and many picturesque country villages. The famous Goodwood Estate, host of the Glorious Goodwood horse racing festival and motor racing events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival, is within easy reach of 3 Woodford House. There is also a mainline railway station in Bognor Regis, with a direct line to London Victoria.
