About the property

Come in and relax in our well appointed home conveniently located close to the airport and minutes from downtown Cranbrook. In winter this home is private and serene, only 20 min from Kimberley Alpine Resort. In summer it is alive with golf activity on the surrounding Shadow Mountain Golf Course. You have access to the St. Mary’s river which is world renown for fly fishing but is also great for rafting and canoeing.

About Darren Brewer

I visited the Kootenays many years ago on vacation and immediately fell in love with the mountains. I always wondered what It would be like to live in the Kootenays and spent the next few years dreaming of moving to Paradise.

In 2016 my opportunity came and we made the move to Cranbrook. After spending 25+ years in Toronto ( GO leafs GO !! ) it was a big change moving to a small town however its been a wonderful experience , Shankly ( My Golden Retriever) can attest to that !. In my spare time I enjoy walking with Shankly throughout the neighborhood or you might find me at the Hockey rink in the winter months.

I look forward to meeting you and hearing about your adventures.

Comfortable, quiet and spacious

We stayed here for our Kimberley ski weekend. It was much more affordable than staying in Kimberley, but still conveniently close to the hill. The beuatiful new home was a treat to come back to each evening. Everything in the house worked like new, and was clean and stocked with supplies.

Great place and close to everything

The house was great. It was a great location close to the ski hill. Close to Cranbrook too so we could run back to get stuff we had forgotten.

Brand new, fresh and clean. Only downfall was no A/C in 35 degree heat.

This was well situated close to YXC Cranbrook's airport and out on a golf course. The house couldn't be newer and the price was right for our family. No A/C was the only possible improvement and sugar for my coffee would be sweet!

The City of Kimberley, offers a wealth of accessible amenities including a state- of- the- art aquatic centre, shopping and dining at the Platzl where there is more than 30 restaurants and coffee shops to please any appetite including German, European, Thai, Mediterranean, Chinese and Canadian cuisine.

The City of Cranbrook is a full service city with a hospital and brand name retailers. For entertainment it is home to the WHL Kootenay Ice. It has a performance theatre, a 5plex cinema, and a casino on the St. Eugene Resort.

Kimberley Alpine Resort, 20 min away, offers world class skiing where beginner to advanced skiers and snowboarders can enjoy 80 runs (with 20% beginner, 42% intermediate and 38% advanced trails), or even try skiing in the night under the stars (Thu, Fri, Sat)- which is definitely a fun experience! Fernie Alpine Resort is the next closest hill, 45 min away, boasting 142 runs and 30 ft of snow over 2,500 acres. It also has 9 on hill restaurants. Fresh powder and sunshine no wonder the area attracts skiers from around the world!

The cabin is only 10min from the (YXC) Canadian Rockies International Airport! After arrival it wouldn’t take long for you to get on the mountain skiing, or to challenge yourself at a round of golf!
