A Delightful 2 Bedroom Holiday Lodge Sleeps 5, Fully Equipped, Garden & Parking

This cosy getaway, tucked away in a peaceful valley offers a rustic homely atmosphere amidst beautiful rural surroundings, 1 mile from Bantham’s sandy beach famous for its surfing. It is well presented and equipped, sleeps 5 in two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, kitchen/dining area with hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge/freezer. The lounge has satellite TV/DVD,Video and CD players, selection of books, games, DVDs, videos. All rooms have electric heaters. As mobile phone signal is poor there is a telephone for use if necessary. Outside is a veranda and lawn area with picnic bench and barbecue to enjoy alfresco eating, a decking area to enjoy the sun and sounds of the stream running along the valley. Willows has 2 parking spaces at the top of its driveway.

The site has slopes and steps and may not be suitable for the disabled. Well behaved dogs allowed (2 maximum.)

Each room is equipped with a heater (if necessary).

Cosy cottage in beautiful valley

Had a fantastic time here. Really well equipped little cottage and very comfy. Beautiful view of countryside when you wake up and Bantham Beach only a 5 minute drive. Astrid extremely welcoming and helpful. Kids loved it here too!

Lovely little escape in Devon

We had a lovely week here helped greatly by the fantastic weather all week. Astrid was so kind to leave us with some welcome goodies which we appreciated very much. There were lovely little touches such as the provision of essentials and this made it all so much easier. The cabin was furnished very tastefully and the cabin met our expectations in full. The verandah was a great sun trap and was perfect for watching the birds. Just one tip - take extra towels especially if you like a large bath sheet. Thank you Astrid.

Willows Holiday Lodge

A fantastic lodge tucked away in the beautiful South Hams. A superb facility which is very well priced, looked after, clean and well equipped. Within easy reach of Bantham village, the lodge is ideal to escape the rat race and enjoy the breathtaking countryside and beaches locally. The perfect place to get a good 'fix of Devon'. Will definitely stay again, a really enjoyable break, thank you.

Bantham has a beautiful unspoilt sandy beach with views to Burgh Island and Bigbury-on-Sea. Ideal for families, surfers, body boarders and walkers. The S.W. coastal path accessed from the beach or from a path in the field opposite Willows will take you to smugglers’ coves, quaint villages and the international sailing centre of Salcombe. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year, but in summer are restricted to the western end (the Ham) which reveals large areas of sand at low tide. RNLI lifeguards patrol throughout summertime and there is a surfing school based there. Other beach facilities are the mobile beach café’ and the public toilets. Bantham village, a short walk, offers a shop, café, and The Sloop Inn with excellent food! There are 2 golf courses nearby at Thurlestone and Bigbury-on-sea. Nearest town, Kingsbridge, has two supermarkets, medical centre/hospital, cinema, leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, and a variety of cafes, restaurants and pubs. Dartmouth, Plymouth and the vast rugged area of Dartmoor is about half an hour’s drive from the lodge.

A security deposit of £100 is required with the remainder and is fully refundable, subject to any damage, on vacating the property. Rental includes extras: linen, towels, tea towels, electricity. Telephone calls will be charged at cost. Dogs are £20 extra.
