Get away with panoramic views of Lake Travis nestled on the end of a cozy cove! Located directly on the lake with gorgeous panoramic views. Thirty miles from Austin. Located a few miles off Hwy 71 in Spicewood. Apartment on bottom level of main house. King Bed in bedroom, pull out sofa in living room with private deck looking over water. Marina with great places to swim and picnic is .66 mile walk from property. May be other group of travelers in main house above. $20 additional per day rate for boat slip rental. So much to do enjoy in this little slice of heaven!

Great Property ! Wonderful Views !

Overall great stay . The only problem is that there is no parking when other renters are staying in the upstairs part of the house . All other aspects of the apartment were fantastic !

Unpleasant

Swarming bees in parking lot thanks to beekeeper neighbor. Live and dead cockroaches inside. Dead scorpion in pool. Dusty, dank inside. A/C crashed in 100+ degree weather. TV has a handful of channels and is of the bubble generation (i.e. not flat screen.) Marina rules prohibit swimming. You have to drive 30-45 minutes to rent a boat. Can't sit on deck at night because of flying insects swarming around light source. You can't reasonably walk to lake because of rugged, steep terrain. Overpriced.

Very Nice Property with great views

Overall experience was good. The views and scenery are spectacular. This place is in a really nice gated community. We arrived about 10 pm and it was really dark so getting to the right unit was a little confusing. Once we finally unloaded and got settled in we were just looking to relax for the night. My only negative comment would have been the group above which was about 6-8 people were young adults were playing really loud music till about 5:30 am and started back up about 7:45 am. We were expecting the same thing again on Saturday night but they realized that we were directly below them as they were having water ballon fights on the balcony and water was dripping through the deck and we spoke up and they were very respectful and kept the volume level down and immediately stopped. I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back in the future. If you want peace and quiet go to a B&B, if you want scenery and nice views this is the place!
