About the property

Stunning Open Views Over The National Trust Wetlands from a Vilage Location

A perfect north Norfolk hideaway, 3 The Saltings offers a modern, luxury coastal let in the popular village of Blakeney.

The property is away from the bustle of Blakeney, yet just steps from the quay, the local pub and village shop. The property has unrivalled views of Blakeney Point and the National Trust estate.

Enjoy an evening on the terrace and take in the stunning sunsets, or retreat indoors on colder evenings to take in the view from the full height picture window in the upstairs lounge.

3 The Saltings is fitted and furnished to a high-quality luxury standard but retains its family friendliness with bunks for the kids as well as 2 double bedrooms.

New central heating and double glazing keeps the house cosy whilst the kitchen benefits from all Bosch appliances with a full-size dishwasher, split oven, fridge, freezer and Corian counter top. There is a washer/dryer tucked away in the garage.

Parking can be a problem in Blakeney, but a wide drive allows for 2 or 3 cars to be parked which caters for most visitors' needs.

Consider booking for a week or a shorter 4-night stay.

An outstanding house, perfectly placed to enjoy North Norfolk

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in Blakeney. The views from the house over the marsh are amazing, and even better if you are a birdwatcher, as Red Kite, Marsh Harrier, Barn Owl and Avocet (and also Muntjacs!) can be seen from the comfort of the living room. The location of the house is also really good, as it is easy to go on walks in different directions. You can take a walk to Morston (about 30-40 min) and then take a boat to see the seals at Blakeney Point or walk to the Freshes of Blakeney or to Cley. The house is clean, well furnished and with modern appliances. We could find no fault with it. We will definitely be back!

Cosy with great view

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week on February here.It ticked all the boxes for us: direct access to the coastal path, parking , garage for our bikes and stunning views of the coast . The house is cosy and located in a quiet cul de sac.It is a very short walk via the coastal path in front of the house to get into Blakeney centre. The Spar, bus stop and pub as very close by too .We'd

come back .

Beautiful views, wonderful location with modern decor and fully equipped.

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous week at 3, The Saltings in October Half Term. The property has direct access to the coastal/ marshland footpath and you can walk through the back of the King's Arms pub to the centre of Blakeney as well. We took binoculars to spot the marsh birds and could have sat for hours, just looking out.

The property is well equipped with all that you need for a very comfortable stay, decorated in a neutral and modern style, which should suit everybody. There is so much to see and do in Blakeney itself, or you are a short drive from many other lovely towns villages, beaches, pubs etc. We would highly recommend this property. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Wonderful location and good facilities

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at The Saltings for a week in the summer and had a lovely holiday. Location is great, just a very short stroll into Blakeney and it is situated right on the edge of the Norfolk Coast Path. Crabbing down at Blakeney harbour is a must and the walk to Morston very pleasant. Property has an unusual layout, with the lounge upstairs (from which you get lovely views) and this was all part of its charm. Property was well maintained and nice a clean upon arrival. It is a great base for exploring North Norfolk and we are already thinking of booking again for next year.

Fantastic Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This was a massively unexpected treat. We were late booking and didn't think we were likely to be able to stay in such a fabulous property in one of our favourite parts of the country.

We really hope to be able to return to stay here again. We would thoroughly recommend coming here.
