Apartment located two minutes from the beach, located on the first floor has reinforced security door. As you enter, you have a right kitchenette with fridge-freezer, the top side with sink, microwave, toaster, four-burner hob and follows a counter where all utensils are stored and divides the kitchen from the living room is very spacious and where a large sofa bed for two adults. A wooden table with 4 chairs, a small sofa in front of the bed, a dresser to store glassware, cups, plates, glasses, etc., and table and a TV table. Entering the apartment on the left, we hallway leading to the bathroom, a bathtub, sink, bidet and toilet. And on the other side of the hall is the bedroom with a double bed, a large built-in wardrobe, a dresser and two bedside tables on both sides of the bed and a cot (request in advance).

It has air conditioning. Cold / Heat in Living Room and Bedroom

Travel to La Cala de Mijas, Spain Malaga International Airport is the nearest airport, only 25 km away from the property, and is served by many airlines such as Monarch, Jet 2, Flybe, BMI, Ryanair and EasyJet to name a few. To get to the apartment: Taxis: Taxis line up outside the arrivals terminal. Rates are posted on the wall showing the destinations and fares, and currently shows a 48. The journey to the apartment takes approximately 20 minutes. Buses: Buses towards Marbella, through the bus station in Malaga, leaving a stop outside the arrivals every 30 minutes (please ticket at the box office before boarding the bus) and stop in La Cala Mijas. The buses are operated by Autobuses Portillo. Train and bus combo: The new underground train station in Terminal 3. Train tickets are available in a machine from the airport to Fuengirola. Trains depart every 30 minutes to Fuengirola from approximately 6:30 am to 11:30 pm (times may vary during holiday periods). In Fuengirola you have to walk less than 100 meters around the corner to Fuengirola Bus Station and catch the bus towards Marbella.

Car hire is not necessary, but if you choose to rent a car, reservation is recommended. Golf The apartment is located in the Golf Valley with excellent course including the famous La Cala Golf, Mijas Golf, Golf Miraflores, La Siesta Golf, Santana Golf, Calanova Golf and Club Chaparal 10 minutes. La Noria Golf is within walking distance of the apartment.

  • The bathroom like all the rooms of the apartment is very spacious has a bathtub with shower wand at the foot of the tub has a towel .. It has a bidet, washbasin, hand towel towel rack and toilet and hair dryer.

  • The apartment has a very spacious room with Air Conditioning. Cold / Heat, 1 built-in wardrobe, where you can find sheets, blankets, towels, etc., also has a dresser and a coat rack. The room has a window that makes it very bright and overlooking the balcony so it is very airy and sunlit from early morning.

Notes:
I consider it a great location, with south-east, so you have the sun on the balcony until the evening and looking at the community pool, ideal for children because it has a depth in the shallow end of about 80 centimeters area adults up to 1.85 meters from the balcony we can control the kids in the pool as it is a first floor right above the pool. As for the equipment, it has everything you need so you can spend a very pleasant stay, as its strategic location between Fuengirola and Marbella, makes it a perfect place where you can find, peacefulness, walks, beach 2 minutes walk , bars to taste typical or rich Malaga sardines grilled squid, among a varied menu of food from around the world as there are in the restaurants of many nationalities.

We stayed in this appartment. From 24th Aug to 7th sept 2017

The appartment was everything we asked for. Air con in lounge. And in bedroom with a large and spacious balcony. With the morning sun. Which stays on the balcony till mid afternoon. Which suited us. Everything you need in the kitchen. If you want to cook. The swimming pool is a good size. Which. Does not get overcrowded. It is a very safe tidy well kept appartment. Which is literally 2 mins. From. A very good beach. With beach bars. There are a good selection of restaurants in walking distance. From the appartment. Which are not over priced. Ther are a couple of supermarkets which are a few mins walk away. Or a lidl supermarket. Which is just over the road about 8 mins walk. It is a 10 min walk into. La calla town. With some excellent bars. And restaurants. Would like to thank. Joachim. The owner. He speaks English. And was a very good host. Will definitely be. Back. Mark Katie. Bham

Lovely stay - end April early May

Have just returned from a lovely stay at this apartment.

La Cala de Mijas is a lovely little place and the apartment is very handy for everything, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and lovely beach.

Legends and Biddy Mulligans Irish bar are very good and you are spoilt for choice with some lovely little restaurants and cafes that we ate at.

The new boardwalk is great for walking along the sea front.

The apartment has a big balcony overlooking the lovely garden and swimming pool. It is peaceful even though is is quite close to a busy road. But on the other hand the close proximity of the road makes it handy to catch the bus to other resorts etc.

The apartment is well equipped and spotless clean. I agree with a previous visitor that a couple of sun loungers would be nice . The lack of air conditioning didn't bother us at this time of year and I don't think you can expect it at the very reasonable price we paid.

Joachin and his wife are very nice people and very helpful.

Would definately recommend.

ROOMY, CLEAN, CENTRAL, WELL EQUIPED APARTMENT.

Just returned from spending a week in this apartment, and it is every thing it says on the web site. A couple of things to be aware of though. The T.V. affords basic British Channels but as we have been in this situation before, we always travel with a cheap D.V.D. player and scart lead in our luggage, which we were glad of on a few evenings as we did have very mixed weather including rain. On the sunny days, there are no sun loungers for using at the pool side, and the grass was too hard to sun bathe on beside the pool. The balcony is large enough for a couple of sun beds, and we ended up buying inflatables - not the easiest or most comfortable of things to use for those in the more mature age bracket!

Close to the beach, great price!

This property is really great because it's very close to the beach & the price is very reasonable indeed. Why? Because it doesn’t have aircon or fancy modern décor.

The beach has beachbeds with matresses & parasols and restaurants offering the usual seafood, toasties & salads.

Despite entering the building from the main road side, the apartment itself overlooks a large pool & lovely gardens. We found parking easy at the front too. There is a lift and the walk to the beach is short 2-3 minute, flat walk (literally down the road, no underpass).

You are within walking distance of the town centre, supermarkets & closeby is an open-all-night cafe at the petrol station. There's also a very nice restaurant on the way down to the beach. If you have a car, then this area has so much to offer too!

The bedding is clean and towels including beach towels are provided. The apartment is clean too.

You get the morning sun only so the flat didn’t overheat during our stay in May. The building was quiet except for someone doing some drilling in the middle of the day, but there was no noise at night from neighbours.

Joaquin, the owner is a very nice man & trustworthy . He speaks excellent English and French. This flat was everything we expected and hoped for, for our Spring holiday, so of course we’re very happy!!

La Cala de Mijas is a beautiful Spanish city located in the heart of Mijas Costa. Was once a small fishing village, its cobbled streets are lined with whitewashed houses and palm trees. Your beach 'blue flag' is one of the best on the Costa del Sol, and complete with its own playground pirate ship, a big hit with the kids when they get tired of the beach. The city offers a wide selection of Spanish and international bars, cafés and restaurants for all tastes and budgets, like their beach bars, where you can taste typical sardines on the spit, or a delicious grilled squid with potatoes a lo pobre (Uhhhh, exquisite!), Paella and much yradicionales meals, and international. It also has a selection of shops, supermarkets, banks 2 and two pharmacies (one of the pharmacy is next to my apartment near the Butiplaya). Local buses run every 30 minutes to the nearby resorts of Marbella and Fuengirola. Bus tours are also available for Gibraltar and elsewhere (collection point less than 120 meters from the apartment). Every Wednesday and Saturday you can visit the local market, also called dime (located less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment) where you will find a variety of local produce, variety of fruits, vegetables, jewelry, clothing, gifts, etc. . The apartment is ideal for golfers, as well as for families with children or couples, for peace, for the private pool and because although it is a small town, you can find anything you want, be quiet, sun, beach, fun, good restaurants, pub, sports of all kinds, whether watersports, golf, tennis, paddle, cycling, etc., also have a library, culture house, medical center, police, etc. There are so many facilities in the local area you will never run out of things to do, with or without a car. Within 10 minutes of the house, it is the town of Fuengirola, with the fantastic 'Water Park Mijas' Sohail Castle, the zoo, the Parque Miramar Shopping Centre El Corte English Mijas Costa and a variety of bars, coffee shops, restaurants and entertainment along its eight kilometers of waterfront. 10 minutes along the coast is the town of Benalmadena with its famous marina, Tivoli World Theme Park and the Sea Life Aquarium. A 30 Kms Malaga city to which you can spend several days and visit the Picasso Museum, the port, with its street Larios center where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the entire downtown area, with its cinemas, theaters, restauantes, pubs, bars with all kindof Exquisiteses, the port where you can see the many cruise ships that dock along every day, etc.

On the other side and putting us back in the Cala de Mijas and in the opposite direction, that is to say towards Algeciras, Cadiz, Gibraltar, is just 15 min. drive, the city of Marbella is also worthy of visiting for its splendor, its people, its glamor, its numerous yacht marina, pubs, restaurants, and shops of all kinds.

All these activities are great, but if you really want to relax, you can stay in the apartment, located two minutes from the beach, is a first floor facing south-east and located just above the pool and gardens , from whose balcony you can sunbathe on the terrace you have or get off the garden and enjoy the pool, which is always in excellent condition, both cleaning and temperature.

I hope that the details I have described, I decidais to spend a few days at home, which of course is yours too and where you will find me at any time at your disposal to guide you and help you in everything I can, making the stay unforgettable and of course repitais each year.
