My sister my best friend and I came to Rome for the first time and had a wonderful stay. It is a roomy studio with the kitchen and bathroom of to their own side. There is a huge window in the main room that has a great view that looks right out into the streets of the city and the apt has everything you would need. The apt was perfect and in such a great location of the city. We were able to walk everywhere our whole trip- all the main sites (colosseum, Vatican City, the fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon) and Trastevere, Monti and more. Emanuele was a great host. He was at the apt right when we got there and took the time to walk us through a map of the city, share with us the do and don’ts of Rome and showed us around the apt. During our stay he answered promptly to our communications. His hospitality was greatly appreciated. Prior to us arriving, Lucrezia provided us with all the information we needed and answered our questions promptly. I would love to stay here again the next time I visit Rome and recommend it for others as well!
My husband and I traveled from Canada and this was our first time in Italy. At the last minute we opted to go with a HomeAway accommodation. The location was fabulous and the apartment just as expected. We would most definitely stay here again. We were however late in our arrival to the apartment as we had traveled most of the day. Upon arrival, we were a bit put out that the apartment was not quite ready. (Cleaners were still there at 4:30pm). Yes there are stairs to climb but this is made clear in the rental description. The AC was well received after long hot day in the sun.
Great location, walking distance to all the attractions, spacious flat, not too noisy. Water heater stopped working on the 2nd day and we had to take a cold shower, the booking lady was not friendly anymore the moment we had an issue. Bathroom has mold and mildew and was not sufficiently cleaned. The management company manages about 50 flats in Rome and sadly your issue may not be given a priority.
We enjoyed our stay in this apartment for 4 days. Emilio met us at the airport even though the flight was late and drove us to the apartment where we were met by Massimo, who spoke perfect English and explained to us the features of the apartment. It has a spacious living room with a comfortable bed and a pull-out sofa, small but functional kitchen (espresso machine was a great touch!), nice bathroom, all faucets and appliances working just fine. All recently renovated, clean and neat. It is true that the street is noisy at night, but we didn't have any trouble sleeping as long as the window was closed. The location is great - all major sights are accessible by walking, but having a subway station within 5 minute walk is a great advantage. A grocery store and cafes/restaurants are in close proximity. In addition to room charges, we paid a city tax and a security deposit in cash. The latter was promptly returned to us by Massimo on the day of our departure. He also helped us with ordering a cab to the train station, since public transportation suddenly went on strike and we could not use the subway. Overall, we have very nice impression from staying in this apartment and look forward to staying there again on our next trip to Rome.
We had a great stay in Rome. The apartment is very nice, there is some street noise as it is in a popular shopping district but we didn't find it to be a problem. Massimo met us at the apartment and gave us information about nearby shops, restaurants, and tourist spots. I found the Vatican and the Colosseum a bit far to walk to, especially with a baby in a carrier, but we did walk to both sights to avoid the metro. We rode public trains in Naples without incident, so I don't know if it was really necessary to avoid them in Rome if you are conscious of your surroundings. Other sights are closer and easy to walk to. There are beautiful churches within a few minutes walk up the Via del Corso towards the Piazza del Popolo, which we really enjoyed. We cooked a few meals in the apartment to save money and to avoid having to go out every meal with our four month old, which was great. We would absolutely recommend this apartment!
One big room with an enormous bed, sofa and views out onto the vibrant street below, with violin playing busker, was all we needed. A small but well equipped kitchen and good bathroom with large shower. As a couple who like to walk everywhere, this was great....20 mins to Colloseum, Galleria Borghese, 25 to Vatican and Trastevere, 15 to Piazza Navona, 5 to Trevi or Piazza del Popolo. We even walked from the station with our case, only 30 mins. Pretty much all of Rome do-able on foot from here...although, of course, there is public transport available! The apartment recommendation of Da Francesco restaurant near Piazza Navona was a firm fave with us, and there is a small supermarket with deli very near. The check in and out all went smoothly. We had a great time.
You are in the heart of ancient Rome, a few minutes from the most important monuments of the Eternal City. The apartment is located in Via Sant'Andrea delle Frate, a few steps from the famous Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps). The elegance is without a doubt the main feature of the square. It is no coincidence in the three Vie Trident (Via del Corso, Via del Babbuino and Via di Ripetta) are concentrated stores of the most famous and exclusive designer labels. Piazza di Spagna, the framework offered by the ocher-colored buildings, Bernini's fountain and staircase on which stands the church Trinita dei Monti help to create a refined and eighteenth century. Former home of famous poets such as John Keats and Percy Bysshe Shelley, the square is now a cultural heritage of inestimable value. Located at the foot of the hill of the Pincio, Piazza di Spagna has always been the center of cultural life and tourism in the city of Rome. Nearby, Piazza del Popolo is definitely one of the most famous in the world. The twin churches of Santa Maria Montesanto and Santa Maria dei Miracoli, the Obelisco Flaminio (the oldest and the second highest of Rome), and the two fountains of Valadier help to create a charming atmosphere. And, yet, the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, built on the burial site of Emperor Nero, and his damned soul, and adjacent premises, which have become an integral part of the square and once frequented by people dear to the history of Rome as trilussa, Guttuso and Pasolini make Piazza del Popolo the cultural symbol of the 'Roman'. From here it is an easy walk to the Trevi Fountain. Before you get away do not forget to throw a coin into the fountain, you will ensure the return to the Eternal City. If you are in search of true love, perhaps of Italian nationality, throw then a second, a third, finally, to be sure to get married soon…
