The Casa Rural Juan y Juana Canino is located half a kilometer away from the Casco del Pueblo de Tejeda, a small town nestled in the center and summit of the Island of Gran Canaria - Nublo National Park and World Heritage Site by UNESCO-, peaceful area, described by the great Spanish writer:
Miguel de Unamuno, "petrified storm", of natural interest and splendid landscapes.
It is the starting point for numerous “Royal Roads”, ideal for practicing “outdoor sports”.
The Municipality of Tejeda is well connected with the rest of the Island of Gran Canaria, being able to access, from it, the southern, central or northern areas of the same with great ease and speed. Among the many sports activities to be carried out “outdoors” in the surroundings of Tejeda and surroundings (nothing is far from the town of Tejeda) we highlight those of:

As for Folklore in Tejeda, we must mention its two main parties:
El Almendro en Flor at the beginning of February, taking advantage of the flowering of these trees, thus providing both the native and the visitor, a magnificent visual spectacle to delight them
La Virgen del Socorro On the second Sunday of September, the other singular festival of the municipality (of a religious nature) is celebrated, that of La Virgen del Socorro (patron of the place). The influx of people from all parts of the Canary Archipelago and other parts of the National Geography, as well as a tourist population from almost all of Europe, make each of these two celebrations a very unique event.
