About Christina Delano
David and Chris manage this property and campground resort with their family who are caring people and eager to serve. They say it still feels like yesterday when they searched over a year to find the perfect property. They say, "It was hard to find a place that has the best of all worlds, but here at the Elwha it seems we do: It has a peaceful healing vibe, with majesty all around: the mountain peaks that stand in the distance; the splendor of the forest, lakes, and waterfalls; the Straight of Juan De Fuca and ocean experience 5 minutes away; a Victoria, BC international experience just a boat ride away; plus a community of service that suits a families needs. Port Angeles truly is a unique place."

When the television did not work they came and found someone had moved wires around. When the internet did not work they had someone come and discover previous person had unplugged it in another area.
Good for large/multi families
Easily accommodated our two families of 11 people. Central location for day trips exploring the Olympic peninsula.
Owners were very accommodating. Quiet area right in an RV park. Could use some fans but it cooled down at night and downstair bedrooms very cool. Upstairs could use a fans before sleeping. We are from Michigan and Wisconsin so we were use to cooler temps. Very close to awesome hikes like Hurricane Ridge. We arrived from Forks area which was very nice. Great vacation with 4 families.
Loved this place
My family of eleven stayed here prior to a cruise out of Seattle for four nights. I chose this house because of its proximity to Olympic National Park and other recreation areas close by. This house has its quirks and is not luxurious by any means, but the overall experience of staying here can't be beat. The house has nice big bedrooms and comfy beds and the kitchen is well-equipped. Everything was clean and neat when we arrived late at night and the check-in went smoothly. The owners, who manage the RV park are extremely helpful and as nice as can be. We loved the fire pit outside and had a great fire every night with loads of free fire wood. The setting is lovely with plenty of places to walk and explore. The owners have a garden and share all the goodies with everyone. We loved the ambience and had four great days exploring Washington from this house. If you need to stay in the Ritz Carlton while on vacation, this house is not for you. If you love the outdoors and interacting with friendly people and nature, you will love this spot.
Wonderful home base for family to explore from
My mom, brother, and Seattle sister, nieces and nephew thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had all seen different parts of the Olympic Penninsula, some of us 60 years ago, and we had the fun of showing each other some of our favorite places. When we pulled our cars in we recognized right away that we were in the right place. Our hosts were wonderful: cheerful, helpful, and unobtrusive. At our leisure we played house, played cards and board games, and explored the trails to the river. Grandma took in the view from the lookout, asking what it looked like right after the dam removal, and kids hiked and climbed all the way down to admire and play with the water, fish and rocks. After the kids had explored the house and woods we slept well. It was nice that there were so many beds to choose from, and the upstairs bedrooms aren't immediately above the downstairs ones, allowing early risers and night owls to keep their own schedules. Linens are cute - some are like coloring books - towels are soft, quality ones, and there were plenty of pots and pans, a few starter groceries, and a nice big table to enjoy meals, games, and good company. We highly recommend!
Great Base for Our Olympic Peninsula Adventures
We cannot say enough good things about our stay. My daughters loved the upstairs rooms. Especially their own bathroom. We also enjoyed the evenings by the campfire. The house was very clean and comfortable for us. It figures prominently in the memories we created visiting the Olympic Peninsula.
The house sits at the bottom of our Rv Park and campground There is small store just a walk away, where there is food, souvenirs, ice, firewood and complimentary DVD's for your convenience.
