The Hittah House at Moriah Hills is large and filled with comfortable beds and lots of places to sit and take in the bucolic views of Mount Hood as well as the beauty found only in the Willamette Valley.
Minutes away from golf and dining in neighboring Wilsonville, Moriah Hills is close to the freeway, thirty minutes from downtown Portland, an hour to the gorge and an hour and a half for the Oregon Coast. We have been told by our guests that they have a peaceful and restful experience when they have stayed with us.
The thousand-square foot deck offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy the views. You can even watch people play on the miniature golf course while you relax in one of the white rockers on the deck.
Feel free to contact us regarding, weddings, reunions, church retreats or other events! There is plenty of parking and we would love to discuss our pricing with you regarding your ideas.

A beautiful farmhouse with everything you could ever need.
We had a large group of friends (14) stay at the Hittah House in late May for a long weekend. The pictures on VRBO do not do the house justice. The views from the deck are about as peaceful and serene as you can imagine and build a perfect environment to relax and share great company. The house fit our group of 14 more than comfortably. Between the upstairs, downstairs, amazing deck, and renovated garage there are endless places to share space and make memories. The views in each bedroom are a beautiful way to wake up every morning and get you excited for the day to come. The house is really well positioned for a group looking to tour the Williamette Valley (we were picked up by Pinot Car - highly recommend) or enjoy everything downtown Portlan has to offer. I'd also plan on spending a lot of time around the house because it is that special. Kimmee was a fabulous host. So responsive and pleasant. From reaching out proactively with information to coming over the day of our arrival to drop off fresh eggs from her farm, we always felt like our trip was important to her and that she wanted to do whatever she could to make sure we enjoyed every second. She has also done an incredible job of making sure everything you could ever need is in the house. We kept opening up cabinets in the kitchen amazed by how through she was! Can't recommend this house enough, we'll be headed back one day for sure! Thanks so much Kimmee!
Wow wow wow!!!
Deeply grateful for such an incredible review!!! Thank you so very much for gifting me with such gracious words!!! Our Moriah Hills staff works hard at wanting to help accommodate guests! I certainly loved the words you spoke about the kitchen!! I love to cook so having a kitchen outfitted was a big deal for me!!
Thanks again and we would LOVE to have you all come back!!
Amazing property and host
Hittah House was the perfect home base for friends weekend of golf and wine-tasting in the Willamette Valley. Great indoor and outdoor spaces with beautiful views of the surrounding farmland and hillsides. Kimmee was lovely to work with making arrangements and during our stay. Everyone on the trip wants to go back.
Far and above what I could ever have hoped for!
Warmly embraced by the house the moment we walked in, because it is not just a house, but truly a home. We wanted to share it with and show it to our entire extended family, from locals to those from far and wide (at least a dozen states.) Friday night we had arrivals from 4:00 'til almost 9:30 pm, along with visitors who stayed in the motel in Canby:( (so sad for them) and that meant it was one incredible house tour after another, all with gleeful reactions to the configuration of the space to the décor, to the "feel" and more! Saturday we had 18 visitors between the memorial service and a catered dinner in town. We played board games, which by the way the house is so well stocked with, putted on the nine hole course, enjoyed the oversized playground equipment (wow, that's an ice breaker, a wall taker downer!) and enjoyed reminiscing about our days of being cousins growing up. Sunday, 30 for dinner after church. Just wrapped around all the tables on that level of the house. What a joyful time! That night after dinner, we had a two hour jam session with an accordionist and a guitar player, cousins who'd never played together before. Hallelujah, Fly Away, Wonderful Tonight, and a lot of jazz had the little girls dancing and taking turns playing along on the tambourine and the rest of us clapping and singing. Nobody around to disturb with our happy, heavenly noise! Monday morning breakfast for 15 finished off our stay. We had been saying goodbyes, one by one since Saturday night. Nobody wanted to leave! But I know every single person felt sure we'll be back again! Soon! The House MADE our weekend!
Thank you for such a glowing response to our home! So glad your stay was wonderful!
Cute house, beautiful Views
This a very cute clean home with lots of space. Great for a family gathering. The views around the property are very pretty and calming. Could be really fun for a group wine country trip too. The owner is a very sweet lady.
Thank you so very much for your review!!! Wine country for sure!!! Come back and do some wine tasting tours!!
Beautiful views, great gathering spot
We really enjoyed our family reunion here at Moriah House. Well appointed, family friendly with comfortable space for everyone. Local town great for antiquing! A nice surprise as well. Kimmee was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much for the great review!! Hope you all had a terrific time!!!
Rehearsal Dinner venue with panoramic views
We rented this beautiful home specifically because of the large deck which offered a panoramic view of Mt. Hood and the hazelnut/walnut orchards below. The large dining room and the beautiful long table was the perfect place to showcase and accommodate our catered dinner for 40 guests. Also having 2 refrigerator/freezers was great to store food and beverages. The master suite and bath was amazing. We loved the wall to wall windows overlooking the orchard and pasture land. The lower level was large and comfortable for lots of guests to view the wedding couple’s video on the huge TV. There were so many extras including the fantastic teeter-totter, swings, putt-putt golf and a large Traeger BBQ for baking pizzas to keep all of the children happy over the 3 days we stayed. Kimmee was very responsive and helpful with our requests for referrals relating to our wedding and rehearsal questions. Great location for an event.
