Nancy's apartment is a really lovely place to stay in! It's 1 minute walk from West Kensington tube station and Barclays Cycle Rental station is just around the corner. Tesco Express is really close by. Everyday we used bicycles to get the center of London (Oxford street, Westminster etc.) - it's very easy, fast and cheap. Perfect for three persons - 2+1. Railroad is very quiet. And no one could hear trains during all night. Friendly and lovely people.

Comfy and convenient

We booked a year before our trip and Nancy was very communicative when I had any questions. We are a family of two adults and two elementary school children. Sleeping arrangements are perfectly fine for this situation. I loved that we were not only extremely close to the West Kensington station, but a short walk to Baron's Court. This was super helpful depending on where in the city you visit (can save a train change by figuring out which stop is best). Rock solid Wifi. Easy checkin/checkout. Three groceries very close. The Waitrose store had a lot of markdowns on food in the evening. Also used a Carphone Warehouse location very close to get SIM cards the day we arrived. We brought our own electric adaptors, but noticed there were a few in the cabinet under the TV as well. The unit has a couple of power strips for charging more than one thing. The tube trains do run sporadically outside the back of this location. While they are not really quiet, they stop running late at night and don't start back up again until 5am. It was a non-issue for us. If you don't need to be in the middle of the hubbub this is a great choice. One tip if you like to jog. I didn't do this because we were so busy, but someone told me you can take the train one stop from Barons to Hammersmith and run a short way to a trail along the river. Wish I had had a chance to try it. We were full on tourists so our kids could experience London. Would I rent here again? Yes.

Loved this flat!

This was our first trip to London. I travelled with my wife and adult daughter. We booked a week in this flat and a week in Covent Garden. This flat was charming, the neighborhood was quiet and safe. It was nice to go back to the flat after miles of walking around the crowded streets of London. We enjoyed our Covent Garden flat, but we all wished we had stayed here for both weeks of our trip. It's a very short walk to two tube stations. No complaints about our stay, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

A couple of things to note. The bedrooms do face the train tracks, so sleeping with the windows open is not really an option. There is no dryer for your clothes so pack light and prepare to air-dry your clothes.

There are plenty of local options for food and groceries. We had great dinners at Best Mangal II, The Cumberland Arms and The Curtains Up(favorite). There are some good breakfast choices too.

Comfortable and convenient apartment

We enjoyed out stay at 8 Baron Court because it is convenient to the tube at West Kensington station - just one block away. Almost all the amenities one can want were there. It would have been perfect had more towels been available: only one hand towel for 3 people for 1 week is not adequate. Very nicely furnished with all the kitchen appliances that make your stay comfortable. Would come back again.

Charming appartment to explore London

I traveled with my family to London for a week in April. The apartment is very nice, well maintained, clean and very charming. It is very close to two tube stations- district and Piccadilly - and it is very convenient to explore the city. There are plenty of shops around. We had everything we needed. One of the lines of the tube is passing just behind the house, however it was not disturbing. I think this is the district line and it doesn't run during the whole night anyway. I personally slept very well.

We all enjoyed our stay and would be glad to return any time soon. Thank you, Nancy.

Great Location and Safe

My wife, daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a fantastic experience. The apartment is spacious, even the bathroom. Everything works well. The beds are comfortable. It is on the ground floor so no need to carry luggage up and down stairs. Everything you could possibly need is within a 5 minute walk. The tube station can take you to all the sights within 10 to 20 minutes. If you are a very light sleeper like me, you will want to sleep with ear plugs. The trains are directly behind the building and can be faintly heard. My wife and daughter, however, were asleep within seconds apparently lulled to sleep by the trains. We highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.
