Location, Location, Location....
Set in a quiet complex just of the Royal Mile.
Next to the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Palace (Queen's official residence in Scotland)
24 hour concierge and allocated car parking.
The location is almost perfect, just five minutes from the centre, there's even a bus every half hour out side the building. There's a Tesco local just up the road.
We heard no noise from the neighbours and it's a quiet location but there is a school yard at the back of the buildings facing the bedroom windows so it's a bit lively around 8.45 for twenty minutes.
The layout is ideal for two couples, two bathrooms providing privacy for all and the open plan cooking/living area makes for sociable mealtimes. The beds are good though a king size would be better than the double provided. Whilst there is plenty of hot water the shower in the double goes cold from time to time, this is an ongoing problem which others have mentioned. The ensuite is in need of refurbishment, cracked floor tiles and discoloured grouting. The crockery and utensils need replacing, chipped plates and scratched pans. The apartment could do with decorating. Wifi works well. The lift is reliable and the parking place convenient. All was very clean. The owner was contactable and responsive.
If the problems were resolved this would be 4 star, 5 star in school holidays.
Family and I stayed here for a few days and found everything to be wonderful. The location was just a couple minutes walk to The Royal Mile and King Arthurs Seat (kids wanted to hike it). Rooms were clean and all essentials were provided. All in all a great find in Edinburgh. Would happily stay here again.
The apartment is in a great location: close to everything but removed from noise and traffic. The owner is responsive and easy to work with.
The Royal Mile and a wonderful park just a block away. It's just a great apartment in a great location! Everything as described so you won't be disappointed.
This apartment was situated within walking distance of city sights, Waveley Station etc. The apartment is great and perfect for our weekend visit it has everything required for stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if/when visiting Edinburgh.
Stayed here for 2 nights 4/16 - fit our needs perfectly. 5 minute walk into town and had a parking spot for the rental car. The place was clean and comfortable. The owner was quick to respond and answered our phone call when we had a quick question. The hop on hop off bus route runs right across the street.
