On the main floor there is a large, open concept, fully equipped kitchen (free coffee/tea & cocoa provided) which overlooks the family room, with a breakfast bar that seats 4, a dining room table w/bench and chairs that seats 6, and a high chair for the little one. The spacious, cozy family room has a fireplace, flat screen Cable TV, DVD, CD stereo and free WIFI, and blankets to snuggle up on the couch. There are two roomy Queen bedrooms down the hall from the family room, with flat screen TVs, new, comfortable plush top queen beds and a shared tub/shower bath. The laundry room is between the two queen bedrooms, with full size washer and dryer along with free detergent and softener sheets and laundry baskets.
The upstairs area features a loft game area with a pub table, ping pong and foosball tables, and board/card games for your enjoyment. Also located upstairs is a large Queen Master Suite with new pillow top queen bed, a flat screen TV, private, spacious tub/shower bathroom with double vanity and large walk-in closet.
Outside, enjoy the large yard, great for the kids to play games and explore. There are horseshoes, an outdoor fire pit with log seating for all to enjoy, a charcoal grill and a relaxing Hot Tub on the lower porch. Enjoy the mountain view and the peace and tranquility of nature and the surrounding woodlands, while enjoying your coffee from the two level back porch equipped with tables and chairs, or from the front porch. You may even see wild turkeys, bear, bobcats, lots of woodland birds and other animals roaming around the area, as well as cows in the pasture next door.
In the summer, our guests enjoy free access to a seasonal community pool at Honeysuckle Meadows (open May to October) and the catch and release pond, which is located just off Wears Valley Rd and Happy Hollow Rd, a mile from the cabin.
