Treetops and Kestrels lodges are the same size and design, but differ in the way they are used.
Kestrels is kept fur and feather free for those with allergies.
Kestrels has a mobile hoist which can be used over the bath.
Kestrels has a games room in the basement with a full size pool table, darts board and table football. To avoid disturbing guests above, it’s use is restricted to those staying in the lodge, unless the guests are out. The basement is accessed by an exterior door under the balcony.
Parking is by the door which has a ramped entrance. Entry is through a utility room with both washing machine and tumble drier. This opens into the large south facing living room enhanced by pine paneling and a raised ceiling. Fully furnished, it has a TV/DVD plus a selection of books and children’s toys. A door opens on to the south facing balcony. The kitchen is set off the living room and has a gas cooker, microwave, fridge and all the utensils you will need.
A central hall leads to the bedrooms. The double room with king-size bed has an ensuite shower, toilet and wash basin. All the beds have duvets. Linen and towels are included in the price. The twin room and bunkroom (with fixed full size bunks) are served by the bathroom which is suitable for wheelchair use. All our accommodation is no smoking inside. The only extra is electricity, by meter reading at cost, which is given on the prices page.
