My US family found the apartment to be excellent. It is located on the top floor of a three-story complex, at the edge of a small town. The complex was relatively new, with a spacious garage (a rarity in Switzerland), elevator, and even a dolly cart to move luggage between the apartment and garage.
The apartment was extremely clean and well-equipped with modern appliances, including washer and dryer, large TV, and dishwasher. It was well-stocked with pots and pans and silverware. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, well-lit and comfortable. The heating and air conditioning worked fine.
The apartment complex is within easy walking distance of shops, grocery store, ski lifts, and train station. The complex (and town) were all tidy and clean. We really enjoyed our stay in Andermatt, including an incredible walk through meadows full of flowers to a scenic waterfall. Andermatt proved a useful base to see other parts of the country (e.g., Bellinzona), with the only drawbacks being the rain and road construction (the Swiss workers move traffic through construction areas as slowly as their US counterparts).
The booking process was smooth, and Julie was very responsive and helpful. The apartment contained a booklet with all necessary information (wifi login, recycling info, etc.). It was one of the easiest rentals we have ever booked.
Overall, the apartment was an excellent value, particularly given the costs of Swiss hotels.
