Beautiful place. Lovely scenery. Very tidy.. only problem is the downstairs room has no heating. However its only advertised as a 3 bed so thats probably why. Great balcony.
Very comfortable home with beautiful views in an excellent location. Loved the balcony and watching ospreys, barn owls, deer. Thank you for the welcome pack of milk, bread, bacon, eggs, fruit and biscuits.
What a beautiful home
What a beautiful home in a beautiful location. The house is very well presented and in lovely condition. It has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay and really is a home away from home. It's close enough to the village and beach to be handy but far enough to be wonderfully peaceful. The balcony was such a treat! The huge garden was brilliant for our young kids to run free in. We were only there for one week but would happily have stayed longer. Thanks very much to the thoughtful owners for a really enjoyable holiday. We hope to be back again sometime.
Great family break
We had a lovely relaxed break, our kids loved the space in the house and the huge garden area. We loved the local woods to walk and cycle in and the village is only along the road for fabulous ice cream, cafes and local crafts.
We all appreciated the table tennis room and made good use of this when the weather wasn’t great.
We would lived to come back to this house as there’s still so much to see and do in your doorstep.
The superb views from this comfortable and well equipped cottage make this the ideal retreat for a peaceful and relaxing break. It is tempting to just sit and watch the wildlife (deer, owls, foxes, ospreys, seals ..) although there is lots to do in this area of Sutherland. Plenty of quiet roads for cycling, walking routes and golf nearby. The accommodation is perfect! It is located on a quiet stretch of the firth - near enough to Dornoch or Tain for facilities should you need them. We stayed for 2 weeks but would happily have moved in for the summer!
Ideal place for a peaceful holiday especially if you appreciate wildlife as you can watch it from the windows and balcony.
Comfortable and stylish accommodation with everything you could want. House is near to Dornoch and Tain (5-10 mins by car) but far enough to provide a peaceful haven away from it all. Plenty to do in the area and good walks from the door.
A car is recommended when staying in the Highlands (especially in the Dornoch area). Taxis operate 24 hours of the day. There is a bus stop in Dornoch that can take you North and South of Dornoch.
