Rented at the end of September. Very quiet and serene. Wish we could have stayed longer. You can hear the loons on the lake (the birds not the neighbors).
My husband and I treated our son, his wife and two children to a 3 day getaway (they live on a farm and seldom get away). Camp was wonderful and well kept. It came with so many items that you sometimes have to buy like soap, dish soap, plastic wrap, etc., etc. etc. Very well stocked and appreciated.
View was beautiful and so relaxing. Granddaughter (age 11) spent most of her time trying to catch a fish.. Adults enjoyed the canoe. Only suggestion would be to move the medicine cabinet to another location in bathroom. It sits near the front of toilet and, in the dark, one could bump their head on its corner. Also, be aware that the bedrooms are tight (we didn't care as the only time you're in there is to sleep.) We'd go back in a heartbeat!
We truly enjoyed our visit at this camp. It’s a camp, not a house, but it has all the amenities of a home. Very clean and neat; not always found at a camp. Well furnished. We brought our kayaks and had easy access to the water. We toured the little lake and passed through the thorofare to the big lake for enjoyable trips. I would not hesitate to go there again.
Thank you for the review. It's very much appreciated.
We had a wonderful stay here!!!
This was a great place to stay. The games inside at night, and canoes outside during the day, made the family time great here. Don't know when the last time we played cards, and Yahtzee, but when we saw that stuff there, it added to great family time. They had everything we could possibly need or cooking, and even a book to show us where restaurants and stores were. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay there again.
Adorable and peaceful.
The camp was cute and quiet. We had our coffee on the deck every morning looking out over the lake. We listened to the loons every night as we sat around the fire pit. It was a very relaxing couple of days, I wish we’d been able to stay longer.
Just too small.....
I should have looked at the pictures a wee-bit better. Each bedroom was a closet. And I don't mean a walk in. The bathroom was painful. You had to duck in order to rinse under the spout in the shower.
Unfortunately we had to look under the furniture for a missing piece of jewelry. Not cool with what we discovered. We checked out early. Sadly, we had several other relatives staying at other camps on that lake and they paid much less than we did and the property was much MUCH bigger.
