About Rosa

My name is Rosa, I was born and I live in Venice, a city that I love in every little detail, from the history to the art, the architecture and the way of living.

I manage with pleasure 3 apartments in the historic center of the city, adding this activity to my business managing a small perfumery near Piazza San Marco.

I speak and write fluently in English and French.

I love to travel and to find cozy places that make me feel at ease wherever I am.

Rosa purchased this apartment in 2009

Why Rosa chose Venice city centre

This apartment belongs to my family. I decided to dedicate it to this activity because I love having contact with people from all over the world; opportunity that the international vocation of Venice allows me to accomplish.

I started this business with the main aim of making my guests's stay in the city as pleasant and comfortable as possible, so to return to their homes not only retaining the memory of the places visited, but also the feeling of having found their own 'home' in Venice.

My effort is, through custom maps and advice, to make discover Venice, not only as a tourist destination but as a city to love in its most secret shades; what I try to do, through my reading of the history of the city and my wandering in the constant research for hidden corners, is to transfer my passion to my guests, in the hope that it becomes a bit theirs too.

Arranging the apartments, I always try to interpret the needs of my guests, what they may need exactly as if I were the one who should stay.

The Best of Venice- Everything was Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Four of us shared this wonderful apartment for three nights in Venice. My only regret is that the time was too short.

The apartment was immaculate. The design of the unit was both functional and beautiful. (the woodwork in the apartment is amazing). The kitchen well furnished for cooking fresh fish and produce from the market just down the street from the apartment. The rooms were spacious. The living area was more than enough room to stretch out and relax after a long day of walking.

Rosa was delightful taking the time to introduce us to the apartment and area as well as making what turned out to be excellent restaurant recommendations. She met us at the water bus stop to walk us to the apartment and had been very responsive to every question on the days prior to the trip.

The location of the apartment could not be better. Being very close to the Rialto market, everything was within easy walking distance and several water bus stops were in close proximity. Although you can easily get lost in Venice, there are signs everywhere directing you to the Rialto Bridge and if you can find this, the apartment is readily navigated from there.

I strongly recommend that you consider this unit if you are staying in Venice. It was one of the best that we have ever rented over many years of travel and we could find no faults. You will not be disappointed.

What a Find!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was ideal for us (2 couples, each with a bathroom). The location is perfect, steps away from shopping, restaurants, bars, banks, pharmacy, and bakeries. We walked everywhere and had such fun window-shopping and watching people. It is very close to the Rialto Mercado city water bus stop. It is on a very quiet street and due to renovations, the apartment is sound proof.

The apartment was immaculate. It really has everything you need and more. Beautifully decorated and the expresso machine was a real treat. Although, we spent most of our time exploring the city, when we needed a respite the apartment was a great place to have a cup of tea or coffee and chat with friends.

Rosa was fabulous. From the very first contact with her, she was helpful and informative. I had several questions regarding the apartment and after emailing them to her, she responded quickly. After exchanging texts, she met us at the Rialto Mercado water bus stop and walked us to the apartment. At the apartment, she had hand printed information with a map of the location of nearby cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and pizzerias. Rosa also shared with us her personal favorites. She was extremely well organized, and professional. She is an articulate woman who made our stay in Venice very special. We were impressed with her genuine concern that we were comfortable in her apartment and in her city.

Absolutely lovely apartment and a wonderful location.

  • 5 of 5

This was our second visit to Venice and we decided to try VRBO instead of an hotel. And we couldn't have been happier. The apartment was located near the Rialto Bridge but just far enough away to escape the crowds. Nice restaurants in the area and an easy walk to everything we wanted to see. The owner Rosa was extremely helpful with travel tips and recommendations. We loved it'

An excellent location, clean and beautifully presented

  • 5 of 5

We stayed as a family of 4. The apartment is ideally located close to the Rialto bridge, many restaurants & the Mercato stop. We thought that the apartment was spacious and lovely. It had all we needed and had the great benefit of two bathrooms. Rosa was a pleasure to deal with & communication was easy and efficient. If we return to Venice we would stay in the apartment again.

Great Stay!!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, our 16 year old son and I had the pleasure of staying in Rosa's beautiful apartment. Her artistic attention to detail was impeccable. This lovely apartment is a silent oasis in the heart of Venice. It is a home that feels loved. The location was perfect for us. Rosa was always available for any questions. We loved her recommendations. Rosa is someone I would have enjoyed to share a glass of wine and conversation with. By the way, she owns a wonderful perfume shop called I Muschieri. I purchased a bottle of gorgeous perfume.

ABOUT THE LOCATION

The apartment Venisa awaits you in Rialto, in the historical and geographical center of Venice, close to the crowded and lively fish, fruit and vegetables market and to the most characteristic Venetian 'osterie', in a central and evocative area.

This is the oldest part, the original nucleus in which, from the seventh century, the entire city gradually developed; this area has always been the heart of the economic, commercial and financial activity. Today it is still very active, characterized by the colorful market, many shops, restaurants, taverns, supermarkets, banks and everything else needed for residents and tourists.

HOW TO REACH THE APARTMENT

Arriving by plane.

If you land at the Venice or Treviso airports, the apartment is reachable by taking the direct shuttle bus to Piazzale Roma and then the ACTV Vaporetto line 1, direction Lido, getting off at the stop 'Rialto Mercato', only 150 meters from the apartment.

Alternatively, but only if you land at the Marco Polo airport in Venice, you can take the Alilaguna Linea Arancio waterbus and get off at the stop 'Rialto'; the trip takes about 1 hour.

Arriving by car.

If you arrive by car, you can park in Piazzale Roma and from there take the ACTV Vaporetto line 1, direction Lido, getting off at 'Rialto Mercato'.

If you park at the Tronchetto, you can reach Piazzale Roma in 3 minutes with the shuttle 'people mover.'

Arriving by train.

Finally, arriving by train, you can take the ACTV Vaporetto line 1 outside the train station and get off at the stop 'Rialto Mercato'.

In any case, when you book the apartment, we will provide detailed instructions.
