Other apartments in Venice managed by Rosa are the properties n° 816110 and 816251
My name is Rosa, I was born and I live in Venice, a city that I love in every little detail, from the history to the art, the architecture and the way of living.
I manage with pleasure 3 apartments in the historic center of the city, adding this activity to my business managing a small perfumery near Piazza San Marco.
I speak and write fluently in English and French.
I love to travel and to find cozy places that make me feel at ease wherever I am.
Rosa purchased this apartment in 2009
This apartment belongs to my family. I decided to dedicate it to this activity because I love having contact with people from all over the world; opportunity that the international vocation of Venice allows me to accomplish.
I started this business with the main aim of making my guests's stay in the city as pleasant and comfortable as possible, so to return to their homes not only retaining the memory of the places visited, but also the feeling of having found their own 'home' in Venice.
My effort is, through custom maps and advice, to make discover Venice, not only as a tourist destination but as a city to love in its most secret shades; what I try to do, through my reading of the history of the city and my wandering in the constant research for hidden corners, is to transfer my passion to my guests, in the hope that it becomes a bit theirs too.
Arranging the apartments, I always try to interpret the needs of my guests, what they may need exactly as if I were the one who should stay.
My wife and I spent 5 nights here and it was glorious. We have used VRBO in many cities and this was perhaps our best experience. If you are looking for a clean, spacious, centrally located place with an agent who masterfully takes care of every detail, then stop your search. My wife and I prefer to travel alone, so we each enjoyed our own couch in the living room to plan our next day and separate bathrooms. We loved enjoying breakfast in our kitchen . While we did use the water taxi, we actually walked to most everything we wanted to see in Venice. Restaurants galore. Rosa is the best agent we have have ever had. She answered every email prior to our vist, met us at the train station, spent an hour with us in the apartment. She really made our stay worry free. As a retired teacher after 42 years, I would give Rosa and this apartment an A+. Don't miss out on this fantastic apartment in this wonderful city!
The property was immaculately presented and was a wonderful place for us to stay while in Venice. The master bedroom was a very generous size, and all other rooms were a good size for a family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked and had all items that we needed during our stay.
The San Polo area is lovely and full of character. The property was a few minutes walk from Rialto Bridge and the fantastic Rialto market too. We found some lovely places to eat close to the apartment.
Rosa, the apartment owner, met us on our arrival night and led us to the apartment. She was really lovely and talked us through everything we needed to know about the apartment and surrounding area. She kindly left some biscotti and prosecco for us too!
We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending the apartment to our friends.
Thank you Rosa!
Rosa does an fabulous job of hosting guests in her Venice home away from home! Everything from the location, to the decor, to her personal attention to detail and cleanliness. Rosa supplied a bottle of wine, locally made cookies, coffee and numerous brochures and books for our use and additional local information . All living quarters, bedrooms and baths were beyond our expectations. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Venice, we would definitely return to her apartment. Our appreciation goes out to Rosa, we'll done.
It is unfortunate that we had to cancel our trip to Italy at the last minute. Although we did not get to stay in the apartment, we feel it is important to comment on how responsive Rosa was to our situation. She was quick to communicate with us regarding cancellation policies, future dates, etc. It was comforting to know that she cared enough to respond quickly and let us know our options. We will work with Rosa again when we re-book our trip.
Wonderful beyond description! Perfect location. Central to everything yet quiet and very secure. This apartment is very very clean and has everything you need for an authentic Venetian stay. Incredible value as well. We needed to check in early and rosa arranged for her friend to let us in. This allowed us to hit the ground running and not waste time waiting for a hotel checkin. Perfect!
Rosa met us exactly on time and waited patiently with us while we located the friends who were meeting us. The apartment was way more beautiful than the photos can show, and located in a superb location for exploring everywhere. The kitchen was excellently equipped and there were essentials provided so we didn't have to worry about olive oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, coffee, sugar, etc. Rosa provided us with a variety of maps for each kind of activity, and two sets of keys so we could all come and go as we pleased. Our master bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have two bathrooms, one for each couple. All in all a delightful place to stay. I would recommend it without reservation.
