You will feel at ease, in short, just like at home.

But above all, you will appreciate the many angles away from the crowds, full of history, charm and poetry, quiet and romantic, all of them to be discovered with the necessary calm to learn to love this city.

About Rosa

My name is Rosa, I was born and I live in Venice, a city that I love in every little detail, from the history to the art, the architecture and the way of living.

I manage with pleasure 3 apartments in the historic center of the city, adding this activity to my business managing a small perfumery near Piazza San Marco.

I speak and write fluently in English and French.

I love to travel and to find cozy places that make me feel at ease wherever I am.

Rosa purchased this apartment in 2009

Why Rosa chose Venice city centre

This apartment belongs to my family. I decided to dedicate it to this activity because I love having contact with people from all over the world; opportunity that the international vocation of Venice allows me to accomplish.

I started this business with the main aim of making my guests's stay in the city as pleasant and comfortable as possible, so to return to their homes not only retaining the memory of the places visited, but also the feeling of having found their own 'home' in Venice.

My effort is, through custom maps and advice, to make discover Venice, not only as a tourist destination but as a city to love in its most secret shades; what I try to do, through my reading of the history of the city and my wandering in the constant research for hidden corners, is to transfer my passion to my guests, in the hope that it becomes a bit theirs too.

Arranging the apartments, I always try to interpret the needs of my guests, what they may need exactly as if I were the one who should stay.

Absolutely fabulous

  • 5 of 5

We loved Venice and staying at Rosa's was a big part of our experience. Even before we arrived, Rosa was warm, and helpful. She answered all my emailed questions quickly and fully. The location of the apartment is outstanding - just seconds from the Rialto Bridge as the description says and close to a waterbus station. Rosa met us and took us to the apartment, showing us important spots on the way. She left us with a map of recommended restaurants (which were terrific and extremely close by) and other information.

The apartment is lovely and comfortable, with little cozy touches like a bookshelf full of books about Venice. The beds are comfortable, everything works and there are two bathrooms which was good when there were 4 of us. The lounge is a nice size and wi fi is terrific and the air conditioning is good. I would stay here again if I am ever lucky enough to get back to Venice. Thank you Rosa for letting us use such a wonderful place on our trip.

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We originally booked this apartment, but when we wanted to come a day early that day was already booked. Rosa suggested another property she had that was not as close to the Rialto Bridge. We selected that property and loved it. Rosa is a wonderful hostess, providing us with information on restaurants and places to visit.

The apartment was wonderful, very modern and spacious. I would recommend her properties without reservation.

Beautifully-located, spotlessly clean, well-appointed Venice apartment

  • 5 of 5

What a treat! The apartment's features exceeded the already-great impression we had garnered from the website. The main door opens to a spacious entry area and from there a second door opens to the apartment itself. Wide stairs lead to a fabulous Venice gem of an apartment. Each of the two bathrooms was sparkling clean and supplied with fluffy towels and amenities. The beds were comfortable and made up with lovely linens. Each bedroom had a wardrobe that provided ample storage space - the master bedroom's wardrobe was a beautifully designed 'wall unit'. The laundry room was equipped with a handy combo washer-drier and some washing soap was provided. We found this feature very handy. And then the living area ... fabulous, spacious! Every detail had been carefully considered. We loved the kitchen. It had everything one would need to prepare a full meal at home. The kitchen table was a favourite sitting spot for us where we could lay out maps and books and plan our time. Rosa, the amazing apartment manager/owner, left a starting supply of coffee pods and some basic supplies, such as olive oil, balsamic, salt, pepper, etc.

The property was spotless and well maintained. All the appliances worked flawlessly and clear instructions were provided. We have rented great apartments in Paris, London and Amsterdam in the past and this Venice apartment was, by far, the best.

Rosa, the apartment owner/manager, is an exceptional human being. She is energetic, caring , well-informed and she loves her native city of Venice. She met us with a warm, authentic smile at our agreed-on meeting spot to walk us the apartment. Along the short walk she pointed out places of interest and gave background and history. When we arrived at the apartment, after giving us a tour, she sat with us at the kitchen table and went through a package she had assembled of maps, restaurant listings and a variety of other very useful information. She answered all of our questions and suggested some of the books on the well-supplied bookshelf as added resources. She provided important phone numbers and invited us to contact her if we needed anything or had questions. We have nothing but praise and appreciation for Rosa.

The local restaurants and shops were wonderful and getting around from the apartment was easy.

I would, without hesitation, recommend this apartment to friends and family! I have done so already!

There is so much more to say - all positive - no space

A wonderful apartment in a very desirable location

  • 5 of 5

In mid-May my wife and I spent five nights in Rosa's very attractive apartment in San Polo. Rosa was a delight to work with prior to our arrival. She was very accommodating in helping us make a change to our arrival date shortly after booking, and had her friend meet us on the day of our arrival when we arrived early in the morning while she was at work, so that we would not have to wait with our luggage until the official 15:00 hrs. check in time. We greatly appreciated her flexibility.

When we arrived at this very well-maintained and clean apartment, we were greeted by a bottle of wine and a package of biscotti, a personal touch we very much appreciated. The apartment was nicer than we expected and was well-described in the literature. It is also very well located only a short walk from the Rialto Mercato vaporetto stop and the Rialto Bridge.

In the weeks before we arrive, Rosa suggested that we look into the Venezia Unica pass and suggested that we dine at a nearby restaurant, the Antiche Carampane. Both suggestions proved to be well-founded. We enjoyed going to the fish and produce markets, as well as shopping nearby.

We hope that we'll be able to return to Venice in the near future and will definitely seek out this apartment when we return. It has been an outstanding experience for us, one that we would also unhesitatingly recommend to family and friends.

Delightful modern apartment in the heart of Venice

  • 5 of 5

We spent three delightful days here and agreed that this was the best apartment we had ever rented in Italy. The location is outstanding; 2 minutes to the Mercato Vaporetto stop and less than 5 minutes to the Rialto bridge. There are several outstanding chicchetti bars within a minute's walk (our favorite had 1 euro glasses of a solid Malbec.) and there is a great bar for morning coffee and pastries a block away. Despite all of the nearby amenities, the apartment is very quiet. It's situated around a couple of bends of a narrow ramo from the main neighborhood calle.

Rosa has done a terrific job remodeling and decorating the apartment. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room are all modern and very functional. The decor is clean and attractive. Overall it is a very comfortable place to stay and enjoy Venice. We plan to return any time we're in Venice.

ABOUT THE LOCATION

The apartment Venisa awaits you in Rialto, in the historical and geographical center of Venice, close to the crowded and lively fish, fruit and vegetables market and to the most characteristic Venetian 'osterie', in a central and evocative area.

This is the oldest part, the original nucleus in which, from the seventh century, the entire city gradually developed; this area has always been the heart of the economic, commercial and financial activity. Today it is still very active, characterized by the colorful market, many shops, restaurants, taverns, supermarkets, banks and everything else needed for residents and tourists.

HOW TO REACH THE APARTMENT

Arriving by plane.

If you land at the Venice or Treviso airports, the apartment is reachable by taking the direct shuttle bus to Piazzale Roma and then the ACTV Vaporetto line 1, direction Lido, getting off at the stop 'Rialto Mercato', only 150 meters from the apartment.

Alternatively, but only if you land at the Marco Polo airport in Venice, you can take the Alilaguna Linea Arancio waterbus and get off at the stop 'Rialto'; the trip takes about 1 hour.

Arriving by car.

If you arrive by car, you can park in Piazzale Roma and from there take the ACTV Vaporetto line 1, direction Lido, getting off at 'Rialto Mercato'.

If you park at the Tronchetto, you can reach Piazzale Roma in 3 minutes with the shuttle 'people mover.'

Arriving by train.

Finally, arriving by train, you can take the ACTV Vaporetto line 1 outside the train station and get off at the stop 'Rialto Mercato'.

In any case, when you book the apartment, we will provide detailed instructions.
