Beautiful house on seafront at New Polzeath

Bedrooms 6
Property type house
Minimum Stay 7 nights

About the property

Six-bedroom house (sleeps thirteen max)

Pendower is a beautiful, semi-detached, family house on the sea front in New Polzeath.

The stunning Hayle bay (Polzeath beach) is just below the house. You can get sand under your feet within a minute of leaving the front door.

The house is ideally suited for a family holiday with plenty of beds for children and their friends, or just a lovely quiet getaway for a couple.

Go surfing, watch the surfers from the sitting room, or go for long walks along the coast. There are plenty of things to do in and around Polzeath.

The house has Sky TV (we subscribe to the sports channels during the summer) and WiFi broadband.

There is off-street parking for two cars at the back of the house.

The house was completely renovated in 2015.

Changeover day is Friday.

*Please Note* We only start accepting reservations in the same year as the reservation. i.e. we will not be taking bookings for 2017 until January 2017.

We therefore cannot tell if any particular week will be free in any future year. If you enquire about future years, we may not answer.

We are currently (Jan 2017) arranging dates for regular tenants. Once we have them all booked-in, we will open-up dates for new tenants. Thanks.

Beautiful house on seafront at New Polzeath

We visit Polzeath every summer because we love it. This year our stay was extra special. firstly, the amazing weather and secondly, Pendower. A lovely home that feels loved, exactly to our taste with everything we needed. A perfect location, a perfect place to stay for a holiday in Polzeath. We have stayed in Polzeath every year for as long as I can remember and Pendower made this year the best ever. We definitely want to stay there again next year. We would recommend without a doubt.

Fabulous House, perfect location..recommended!!!

My husband & I + 4 children and my sister, her husband + 4 children have never booked through HomeAway.co.uk before, so we were a little apprehensive. Well, we didn't need to be!! After emailing the very informative & helpful owner of Pendower, we felt very sure this was going to be a good choice. He had sent us a detailed itinerary of the house beforehand which was really helpful & he was happy to answer any questions before our stay. After arriving & a quick look around the property we were very pleased! We don't feel the photo's do it justice! Lots of room for the 7 children (+ baby) & 4 adults. As the house is on 3 floors it never seemed over-crowded. A great sized kitchen, more than enough room for the 11 of us around the large dining table, nice utility area & downstairs shower/toilet. It was very clean & nicely furnished & decorated. The views out across Polzeath from the living room & 2 front bedrooms was amazing! Although quite a wet & windy Christmas week, we still managed to have a stroll on the beach most days. The open fire was a great feature, especially after a chilly walk & so nice to light on a cold, winter's evening, making it very cosy. There are plenty of places to visit nearby including Padstow with delicious Pasties & the pretty town of Port Isaac - the famous setting of the TV series Doc Martin. We would definitely recommend this house, especially for a large family holiday & would like to stay again in the future.
