This beautiful 2 storey villa is situated in the quiet leafy estate of La Canada. Just 10 minutes from the airport and close to local amenities and entertainment.


On the main upper floor, there is a large airy lounge/dining room with plasma TV with free view and DVD player, through sliding French doors the L- shaped terrace can be accessed .The terrace overlooks the delightful tree filled landscaped garden, large pool and tennis court. The terrace is partly covered, excellent in the heat of the day and opens for the evening or the cooler months and is furnished with cane furniture and dinning tables that seat 14.

Off the lounge is a beautiful designer kitchen fully equipped with 2 ovens, cooler draws, fridge freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. The kitchen is large, a great space for everyone to get stuck into the cooking, if you prefer to watch then you can sit at the breakfast bar with a glass of wine and offer advice.

On the same floor are 4 bedrooms with air-conditioning the master bedroom has a double bed and there is an en-suite bathroom with double sinks, bath, and separate shower. There are 3 further bedrooms on this floor 2 of them with double beds, one with bunk beds and a single bed with pull out bed and an additional full bathroom.

There is also a small office and toilet on this floor.


The ground floor comprises of a large and spacious bar/lounge, the large wooden bar is a great place for everyone to gather around in the evening and share a drink. There is a large TV sofa, plasma TV, and DVD player. The chimney in the room was built for cooking paellas it also serves as a barbeque. There is seating around the chimney. The room opens out on to a terrace and the garden though sliding doors. On the terrace is a gas barbecue, table tennis table, tables and seating for 14. The bar is equipped with a 2 ring hob, fridge and dishwasher. Off this lounge there are two shower rooms these act as changing rooms as there is direct access to the pool from them. There are a further 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles.

To the side of the house is a petanque/boules court.

The main floor rooms are air-conditioned the down stair rooms have fans. The house is centrally heated in the winter. There is free wifi and an iPod docking station.

The washing machine and tumble drier are on the ground floor and there is a rotary washing line.

There is secure parking for 4 cars.

About Virginia Coombes

In 1998 our family made a life changing decision to move to Spain. We have never looked back, it was a wonderful opportunity to immerse ourselves and our children in the culture and language.

We bought our villa in 2000 and lived in the house until our 4 children gradually left home for university and work in the UK.

My husband and I now live and work in the UK full time and holiday at the villa when we can.

The villa is more than a holiday rental its our home from home.

The photo was taken during our family September 2017 holiday as you can see we now have 3 grandchildren. So there are plenty of cots, high chairs, a stairgate at the top of the stairs, and a safe enclosure round the pool.

A couple of years ago when we upgraded the pool we put in steps in the shallow end of the pool so that my Mum and Dad can still enjoy the pool.

We have had many family holidays here with friends and relatives they all tell us what a relaxing time they have had there's so much for the children to do and plenty of space so you don’t get under each others feet.

What makes this villa unique

When we decided to buy a property we had looked at many but when we saw this villa we fell in love with the space, the swimming pool and tennis court. The arches on the terrace were typically Spanish with jasmine and bougainvillea growing up the walls and the wonderful palm trees which provide great shade on the lawn.

Since buying the villa we have renovated all the bathrooms, the bar and the kitchen to a high standard.

An amazing house, very well equipped.

This was a beautiful holiday house, you really got the feeling that it was once a much loved family home and many a party was probably thrown there.

It was really well equipped with kitchen equipment, dvds, books, even toys for the kids and inflatables for the pool.

The only downside was the location. It’s in a residential area and so you don’t get the benefit of being in the town for places to eat etc, but you also don’t get the benefit of a rural location. We really struggled to find somewhere authentic to eat that was relatively local. But if you’re happy to get in the car then you can drive to somewhere lovely for food.

Villa Maria Gracia has plenty of space, charm and facilities. We were a group of 6 adults and 6 teenagers who enjoyed the sizeable pool, table tennis, tennis court, badminton, pentaque and generous gardens. We barbecued, cooked in the well equipped kitchen, ate figs from the tree and relaxed on the various terraces. There's plenty to explore in the area but with all the villa has to offer it is hard to tear yourself away. Book this home from home today, you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous house for a family holiday

We stayed here for a week as a family; grandparents, 2 children and spouses and 5 grandchildren aged 4 to 6. The swimming pool is large giving us all plenty of room to swim or play or just lounge in one of the many inflatables there. The tennis court area provided plenty of space for ball games generally while the garden has mature trees to provide shade.

The house is extremely well equipped both inside and out. There is plenty of storage in all the rooms. Everything you might need is in the kitchen making cooking and catering very easy. We ate mainly on the upper veranda but the ground floor one is equally comfortable.

As stated there are masses of books, dvds, games and sports equipment available.

The house is in a residential area and few services are within walking distance so a car is essential but plenty of parking is available. It is very secure. Our preferred beach was about 30mins away although others are nearer.

Given the opportunity for another family holiday we would definitely return here.

A Heavenly Family Holiday Home.

My daughter and two sons, with their families, came to

Valencia with me, to celebrate my 80th birthday. The weather was perfect - very hot, but the pool was very much part of our daily life, and we had the most wonderful time. The facilities far out-stretched our expectations with comfortable accommodation for us

all, and room to "get away" from it when needed for some quiet times. Most days one family went to the beaches nearby, another decided meals for the day, and prepared dinner for us all each evening, with a cool veranda for us all to sit and enjoy each other's company.

The house was cleaned weekly, and the pool checked every morning before we were up. We celebrated my birthday at Las Dunas, a fabulous restaurant in the sand dunes just south of Valencia, with excellent service and delicious food. My daughter arranged for a photographer so I now have a lasting remembrance of our special family get-together.

Friends came to visit us during our stay, and I would happily recommend "Maria Garcia Villa" to anyone

as the most amazing place we have ever stayed at,

with facilities on site for young and old.

Wonderful villa in a lovely area of Valencia. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday, the pool is a fantastic size and there is everything you need to relax, whether it's reading their huge library, watching dvds, playing games or cooking. Very secure and safe villa with ample parking as you will need a car to visit all the wonderful places. Would benefit from air conditioning/fixed fans in the some bedrooms and the bar area though. Definately recommend.

Fantastic spacious well equipped villa.

We have just returned from this amazing villa, and i have to say it surpassed all our expectations!

Beautiful and very spacious, well equipped property. Virginia and Andy the owners, could not have been more helpful with the booking, and kept in touch via e mail. There is a lovely couple tigger and Lisa who meet and greet you, and you have their number if you have any queries. Outstanding Pool and Tennis courts plus the welcome pack goes down a treat.

we will definitely be returning!

Our villa is set in a quiet residential area in La Canada, with several bars, restaurants, and shops nearby.

Its close proximity to Valencia makes the villa an ideal base for exploring this historic city. Valencia is a city of contrasts, the wonderful old centre with its amazing food market where you can buy and savour the regional food. The beautiful plazas are the ideal place to stop for some wine and tapas. If you like eating out there are many great restaurants that I can recommend you try.

The recently built Science Park designed by Santiago Calatrava incorporates a zoo, marine park, science museum and opera house. This spectacular complex with its avant garde architecture is not to be missed. The bioparc is a new generation zoo conceived with the zoo-immersion philosophy, the visitor feels totally submerged in the wild habitats that have been recreated here. The marine park is home for more than 45,000 examples of 500 different marine species among which can be found sharks, Beluga whales, sea lions and manta rays. walruses, penguins. The park also has a spectacular dolphinarium and auditorium where they hold daily shows.

If you feel the need for a day at the beach there are several 20mins away.

Heron City a cinema and restaurant complex is 4km away, some of the films are in English, and there is also a bowling alley. The complex is pedestrianised so it’s a great place for kids.

Valencia City offers plenty of further tourist further attractions such as: Turia Gardens (dry river bed that has been converted into a park with sporting & leisure facilities), Botanic Gardens, Tourist Bus, Art Galleries, Theatres, Night Life, Markets & Shopping. There are many top quality beaches in the Valencia area such as Malvarosa, El Saler & Sagunto. Valencia is also home to Valencia CF, Levante CF, Cheste Moto GP circuit & the F1 circuit.

Golf: There are several top quality Golf courses in close proximity to the villa.

El Bosque (30mins), El Escorpion (10mins) and El Saler (30mins)

La Galiana and Sergio Garcia's home course 'Club de Campo del Medeterraneo' are 1 hour away.

The Benicasim water park is 1hour 40mins away.
