The villa, which is easily accessed from the B7 between Paphos and Polis, is situated just 5km from the town of Polis and all its amenities and only 7km from Latchi which offers the best beaches & water sports in the Paphos district as well as a pretty marina where you can relax and enjoy the day’s catch whilst having a glass or 2 of your favourite tipple.
The villa has 5 bedrooms (en-suite to master) and sleeps 9. It has a 9m x 4m private swimming pool with, full air-conditioning, Large Flat Screen TV with Satellite & DVD, washing machine, dishwasher, large stone built BBQ with adjacent table to seat 8, Jacuzzi Shower to Master En-Suite, Jacuzzi Shower in feature double bedroom with floor to ceiling windows, covered children???s play area outside and much more. The setting is both serene and spectacular with the rolling hills of the nearby villages giving views you'll remember forever.
The newly completed villa which mixes modern and traditional features very well, is ideal for couples seeking privacy (perhaps a honeymoon), large families, (especially those with small children who can enjoy both indoor and outdoor play areas) or other groups of friends, has been designed, furnished and landscaped to the highest standards., all in the ‘real Cyprus’ away from the commercial areas and normal tourist hotspots. Enjoy relaxing on a sun lounger by the private pool, alfresco dining on the terrace (or BBQ area), or your favourite aperitif under the gazebo.
After accessing the villa's extensive grounds by a long driveway between the orange trees (plenty of parking), the villa's front door opens into a large airy open plan space comprising the lounge, inside dining area and modern kitchen. The lounge is furnished with 3 large sofas and has a large Flat Screen TV with Satellite & DVD player. There is an open fire for those who wish to take advantage of some daytime sunshine and a cosy evening atmosphere in cooler winter months.
The very modern fully equipped kitchen has all modern appliances including washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, oven, gas hob and extractor hood, microwave and many other extras. An adjacent dining/breakfasting area is equipped with a large round table and six chairs.
Heading along the corridor to the bedroom areas, first on the left is a modern and convenient cloakroom. Opposite is the ‘feature?? double bedroom with stone walls and floor to (double height) ceiling windows as well as a Jacuzzi Shower for your enjoyment.
Next on the right is a King-Sized bedroom with fitted wardrobes and adjacent family bathroom with bath and shower. Next is a single bedroom which could be perfect for a teenageer looking for their own space. Next is a twin room which shares use of the family bathroom.
Last but not least at the far end is the spacious master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a smartly designed en-suite shower room.
The villa is fully air-conditioned. A travel cot and highchair are supplied free of charge on request. Other extras such as hairdryer, pool towels are included to help keep down your luggage. Internet access is also included. Central Heating is included in the rental rate from November to March. The villa is also alarmed for your peace of mind and there is also a safety deposit box.
The extensive private grounds and gardens of ‘Georgios Rafaela Villa’ are accessed by a long private driveway with fruit orchards on either side. There is ample parking at the rear and side of the house.
The outdoor areas consist of many seating areas for casual use, dining or relaxing in the sun or shade. The centrepiece of the holiday villa's ground is a very inviting 9m x 4m private pool with pool shower for convenience.
The spacious pool terrace is nicely equipped with 8 sun loungers, 2 parasols and drinks tables as well as a choice of casual seating. The large stone built BBQ with table and chairs, sits at the end making it the perfect place for alfresco dining and socialising with your party on holiday.
A large covered children’s play area and table tennis table is a dream for parents with small children as it is equipped with many toys and is also completely enclosed.
The outside areas are all 100% private and afford spectacular views of the surrounding valley and hillside. The pretty flowers, shrubs and orange trees add to the atmosphere, making it the ideal place for relaxing in the sun or shade.

''My wife and I had a wonderful holiday in Cyprus, it was our first time there, but I am sure we will be back again soon. The villa itself was everything we had hoped for, private and peaceful, everything we needed was in the villa and the sun bed next to the pool was great. The pool got plenty of use as the weather was superbly hot! The wildlife round the villa kept us entertained as well, plenty of lizards, bats at dusk and a hedgehog and owl at night. The villa was easy to find, we had hired a car through elephantrentacar, who were also great, we were out of the airport and away in 10 minutes!! And the drive to the villa was only about 35 minutes. There was a couple of small shops within walking distance of the villa but I drove to the Papantoniou supermarket in Polis for most of our shopping, their freshly cut sirloin and fillet steaks and chicken skewers were delicious on the villas barbeque and very reasonably priced.
Polis and Latchi were only a 5-8 minute drive away and there was plenty of choice of bars and restaurants in both, the most note worthy were Saavas in Polis where we watched the football, very friendly staff and arranged taxi back to the villa. Chix chox, nice food and Cypriot dancing. Moustakallis, who’s Afelia was delicious. But best of all by a mile was the Old town restaurant in Polis, where we had their gourmet meze, lovely setting and probably one of the best , tastiest and most filling meals I’ve ever eaten! Can’t fault your companies service in any way, booking process was simple and all the paperwork and helpful hints were much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone I know or to book through yourselves again the next time we come to Cyprus.
Anne the owner came to visit us on the first day and was very friendly and when we had a problem with the air conditioning she was at the villa within an hour to resolve it. The pool cleaner was round twice a week but had everything done before 7 a.m. so as not to disturb our time at the villa.
We will definitely return to Cyprus at some time in the future, this is our 8th villa based holiday and I would say it was probably the best one we’ve stayed in so far.
We had a wonderful holiday in a wonderful villa, with wonderful weather, in a lovely, friendly country. Thank you for your part in providing us with a great holiday and I look forward to using your services again in the future. Many thanks. Paul
Exactly how stated in the description. We were a family of 9 with age range 83 to 8. There was plenty of space, places to sit and relax, fully equipped kitchen and very good BBQ and outside dining area. All surrounded by orange groves. The villa was clean with plenty of towels and pools towers. Villa cleaned, bedding and towels changed weekly and pool cleaned every couple of days. Pool was large with ample comfortable sun loungers. Everyone was friendly and helpful even left a mobile phone for us to contact them, if needed. Excellent welcome pack of bread, cheese, ham, butter, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, fruit and wine! Peaceful location and beautiful maintained garden, patio and pool area. We didn't want for anything. Ate at a lovely taverna Koulla Kalimani in Steni about 10 minute drive with fab views of the sunset. Excellent food and very reasonable prices. Used the BBQ most evenings and brought beautiful meat from Pambos Lampide butchers in Polis and best supermarket Papantoniou in Polis near butchers. Good walks in area and Polis and beach only 15 minutes by car. Paphos about 40 minutes by car with a good local micro brewery on the way. A interesting area to explore and not far from the mountains and forests. Recommended for all age groups. The letting company were friendly and helpful and provide clear instructions and helpful information on the area etc. A lovely well equipment and clean villa in a beautiful and relaxing setting.
Situated on the banks of the Chrysochou River, Goudi is a peaceful Cypriot village near Polis in Paphos District, Cyprus. Providing an ideal location to explore the beauty of the surrounding area, Goudi is a picturesque village famous for its stone built villas and efforts to maintain the beauty and the traditions of Cyprus.
Goudi is situated between the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the spectacular mountains of Paphos Forest and the Troodos. Walking in the forests is a delight. Filled with pine trees, fruit and olive trees, wild flowers and herbs and vineyards the air is scented and the views spectacular.
Both Peristerona and ‘Steni' village centres are just 1-2km away from Georgios Rafaela Villa and where you will find a taste of the ‘real Cyprus'. With their mini-markets selling fresh organic produce, coffee shops and restaurants/tavernas as well as the friendly locals, you won't have to travel far to get the most out of your holiday.
Heading back towards the coastline and you will find the small town of Polis. There is plenty of activity to choose from in Polis, whether you wish to dine in one of the many good quality restaurants, have a coffee or lunch in the central square, hire mountain bikes, quad bikes or maybe even a boat!
The nearby Latchi beach is renowned as one of the best in Cyprus and not as crowded as the beaches in and around Paphos itself. Latchi beach is famous for its clear blue sea, soft white sand and a great selection of water sports which are readily available. The water sports available at Latchi include diving, snorkelling, sailing, banana rides and a great deal more. Bring your UK driving licence and you can even hire a boat and explore the Akamas coast from the sea. Drop anchor when you feel like it and swim or snorkel in the warm crystal blue water of the Mediterranean Sea.
For the more adventurous, you can explore the Akamas nature reserve and go all the way round to Lara Beach famous for its turtles and another wonderful unspoilt beach. You can also venture to the nearby villages of Miliou, Droushia and Panagia or further on to Kathikas with its vineyards and wineries. Other fantastic scenery can be taken in at Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountain range where in winter, you can even ski!
Paphos airport is 40 minutes away (31km) by very good quality roads with English road signs. Visit Goudi (for a taste of the real Cyprus) and you won’t be disappointed.
