Four Bedrooms, Four Bathrooms, Sea Views On The Beach

Sit on the deck at the end of the garden overlooking the Atlantic and listen to the waves lapping at the water’s edge or sip a cup of coffee from the upstairs living room and view the power and majesty of the sea. A fabulous new build, Llawnroc is located almost on the beach at Widemouth Bay, one of Cornwall’s top surfing beaches and adjacent to the South West coastal path. Wonderful for walking and the house is designed to appeal to surfers, walkers, golfers and families in equal measure.

Part of the luxury new development at Black Rock, the house comes with under floor heating, wood burning stove, a decked garden area where you can enjoy al fresco dining with the sea as a backdrop protected from sea breezes, grassed communal garden, ample car parking, lockable surfboard shed, outside shower, Sky tv, Wi-Fi and Xbox 360 kinect playstation.

There is a lovely living area which is open plan with the dining area and kitchen. A large wood burning stove makes the cooler evenings really cosy and the views from the living room are breathtaking. The house has four bedrooms, one super king, one king, one twin, and a double bunk bed room. All the bedrooms are en suite and the children’s bunk room is en suite with a bath.

Nearby is the excellent local village shop with a daily fresh fish counter and they stock all daily essentials. There is also a good selection of pubs and restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk serving great local food and drinks. Bude town, which has an excellent selection of restaurants and many really good small independent shops, is a short drive along the scenic coast road.

A truly fabulous property and perfectly located by the golden Widemouth Bay sands and within easy distance of the many local attractions.

Lovely property, great location

We stayed here for a week during Easter 2017. The property itself is lovely and well equipped. There are two double rooms and one twin on the ground floor, with a further bedroom (with two bunk beds) and the living area on the first floor. All bedrooms ensuite. Views of the beach and sea are from both floors, mainly the first. On the whole, a very positive experience, only being a couple of mins walk to the sandy beach and 5 minutes drive to Bude. There is, however, just one allocated parking space and the 3 visitor spaces are high in demand during peak times. There were a couple of aspects of the property which needed a little TLC, but nothing of significance. Overall, a lovely property and great location, and we would definitely recommend. One of best we've been to so far.

Lovely property

This property was ideal for 2 families, including 5 children. While the beach cannot be accessed via the garden, it is just a minute or two's walk from the property so no need to get in the car. We stayed in February so did not use the BBQ though it's worth knowing that the only access to the garden is via the downstairs bedrooms....this was not an issue for us. The property was immaculate, well stocked and lovely and warm. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful modern property, very well looked after.

The property was a beautiful modern property with close proximity to the beach, would definitely recommend and go back for another stay. Had a wonderful Christmas with the family in this house, it was perfect where we could all be together, It is very well looked after and every room had its own ensuite which is perfect when there is 10 of you.

Brilliant holiday

Fantastic holiday house in a brilliant position. Everything you could ask for in the property and the whole property was kept to a very high standard. Very prompt and friendly communication from Nick at Elite West Holidays. Our only regret was that we didn't book for two weeks. Also must recommend Atlantic Pursuits and Sam who runs it. He was brilliant teaching our kids surfing and body boarding and out evening canoeing up Bude Canal is still being talked about 5 stars.

Wonderful holiday at Llawnroc

On arrival to this immaculate house you venture up the stairs to the beautiful living area - comfy corner sofa, large dining table and well stocked kitchen. Add to this the wonderful views from the balconies across the costal path and down to the sea. How exciting but also restful to hear the waves so close at high tide. The garden is a sun trap and perfect for the odd glass of 'something nice' in the evening. All the bedrooms are lovely and the en suite bathrooms are perfect especially if you have a grown up family or are visiting with friends as everyone can have their own facilities. But it is also the little things that make a difference such as the toiletries in every bathroom and the wonderful welcome pack.

The location is excellent, just through the gate and you are on the beach - or along the headland on the coastal path. The cafe by the carpark is most useful serving a good variety of freshly cooked food, ice creams, home made cakes and local ice cream. Lots to do and see in the area.

Booking is really easy and Nick is very helpful when you need to clarify anything. We have been twice this year and will definitely book again.

Llawnroc

After enjoying a fantastic week at Llawnroc last summer we decided to book another week over the Easter holidays. We were pleased to find that we were not disappointed. The house was as comfortable and beautifully decorated as last year with the most fabulous sea views. We are looking forward to returning again in July.

Bude has everything. As well as the National Trust Coastline, its rolling countryside is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Bude has become a centre for all things active, be it a 140 ft abseil down the magnificent cliffs, surfing the Atlantic breakers, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, mountain boarding or sailing.

Alternatively, laze the day away on miles of life guarded sandy beaches or bathing in Bude’s famous sea pool. Followed by a cream tea. All this and a host of wet weather attractions are within walking distance or a short drive from the house.

Meander from the sea lock along the canal’s flat tow paths, flanked by nature reserves-ideal for bird watchers, walkers, wheelchairs, buggies and bikes.

For History lovers, visit Bude Castle Heritage Centre, Stratton Battle ground, picturesque Clovelly harbour, or king Arthur’s Tintagel, both within ½ an hour.

Plymouth National sea life centre, the Eden project, lost gardens of Heligan, Port Isaac, Padstow and more are all within a day trip.
