Fabulous 4 Bedroom and Loft, 2 Bath Home, steps from the beach! Located on the ocean side of Duck Rd, only a few houses from the Ocean. Very relaxing views from every window. Drink your morning coffee, sip afternoon beverages and enjoy your meals on the 40' screened in porch with relaxing seating plus large picnic table. Bask in the sun in your private 40' x 16' Saltwater Pool with large stamped concrete decking or load up the chairs and sun tan lotion and take a short stroll to the beach (no streets to cross). Located in the quiet town of Southern Shores, this comfortable home offers everything you need to enjoy your visit including a fully equipted kitchen with top line appliances and all the equiptment you will need. Large TV in Living Area plus mounted TV's in 2 of the bedrooms. Kids will love the spiral staircase up to the loft with 2 additional twin beds. Full size washer and dryer. Pool open from April thru end of September and is heated in April, May and September as needed. Minimum 7 day stay Sunday to Sunday during high season and 2 day minimum any available days the remaining months. Note the rental does not include linens.

Great Weekend Getaway

We loved the location of this beach house, just a short walk to the beach! Pool was wonderful and really enjoyed the screened in porch. Communication was fantastic with Susan! Great trip overall :)

Great week in Southern Shores

This is our family’s third summer week at Susan’s place. We return because (1) the POOL is large, clean, well-maintained, (2) the house is adorable, spotless, and just the right size for us, (3) love the location and the relatively uncrowded beach, (4) Susan is so easy to communicate with, Thanks, Susan!

Loved our time at the beach!

Loved everything about the house and the location. The pool is wonderful to come back to after a day at the beach. Peaceful and quiet. Susan was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Always a Wonderful Time

We have stayed at this property 3 times now. Susan is wonderful and responsive. The house is close to a relatively uncrowded beach and the pool is wonderful. You get all the experience of the OBX without the craziness of the crowds. Highly recommend - we will be back! :)

I grew up in Northern Virginia and still live there. Being a real estate agent for many years, I've always appreciated the value of owing property. I purchased this home several years ago as a 2nd home and have spent a lot of time along with my 2 daughters and their families in the Outer Banks. For a while, I moved into this home as my personal residence and loved living in the Outer Banks until I was blessed with my first grandchild and I wanted to be closer. I still spend quite a lot of time at this home and love the area and my nieghbors there.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this home the first time I saw it. I have remodeled and renovated the majority of it but have tried to maintain the original charm of the home. A few years ago, I added the pool and have really enjoyed it. This home and the surroundings are my favorite place to be!
