High End Vacation rental, 2 BR Boutique style Penthouse with terrace

The Penthouse has 2 bedrooms with king size / queen size beds and has a open plan architecture with combined lounge/kitchen/ dining area. On the top level there is two stylish terraces, one for dining and one for sunbathing, with a shower. Glass floor and roof in upper level. Overall the penthouse has a very high standard, with the most exclusive choices of materials. AC/heater and LED Smart TV. It has lots of character, high beamed ceilings, shuttered windows and many other original features. The interior design has been made with Feng Shui in mind. Every single detail is carefully chosen and hand-picked. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, induction top, hot air oven, micro, washing machine and drier. Location: Best possible location in the very centre of old Palma., The famous shopping street, Paseo de Born with shops like Louis Vuitton is located within a one minute walk. Many cafés and restaurants just outside the door. This is one of the best vacation rentals in Palma!

About Mrs M

My husband and I live in Sweden with our five children. We work as entrepreneurs in the area of design and engineering. We love to travel around the world and that is what we do in our sparetime. We bought this property partly to fulfill our dream of designing something out of the ordinary and the fact that we needed to have place close to Sweden to be able to spend weekends and some holidays in. This is THE place for someone who enjoys design, a fantastic location in the best area of Palma, in the heart of the historical center, everything happens right outside. The location is the most ultimate and quiet being in the center, yet very calming flow and charming surroundings. We are into Museums, restaurants, shopping, walking, bicycling people watching, if you are to you will be a very happy to have chosen our penthouse !

Why Mrs M chose Palma de Mallorca

We bought this property a couple of years ago and rebuilt it completely! Now everything looks fantastic! We have had different high end magazine wanting to do interior photography for their magazines and products because of the significant Marroccan style of the Penthouse. There is a long series of thought behind every detail as I am sure you will notice and appreciate :)

What makes this apartment unique

We have a fantastic glass flooring and a glass roof that allows you to look right upon the blue skies from the living room and kitchen.. 6 meters up..

The apartment is light and cozy and is also ' fragrancy designed' :)

Best possible area for shopping, dining, people watching on one of the many coffeshops :) And just a few minutes walk to the beach! Rent bikes at Palma Bikes opposite the Chatedreal and enjoy the great biker lanes along the water t Playa de Palma (HUGH beach) and make sure to stop at Puro Beach Lounge along the way for refreshments!

A perfect base to explore Palma

This super-stylish luxury apartment ticked all the boxes and felt like home within hours of arriving. It's a perfect size for a couple and the glass floor with two private terraces above make it really special. The stairs keep you fit but that's a tiny price to pay for being right in the heart of the action and it wouldn't stop us going back. Pretty much all the attractions are within a few minutes leisurely walk and bars and restaurants are right on the doorstep. The owner, Malou, was really helpful and provided us with loads of great recommendations and we tried most of them during our week! We didn't have a single issue with the apartment all week and can't recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful apartment – best possible location!

We felt instantly at home in this lovely apartment. Beautifully decorated, very light and with Palma literally at your feet – it has everything you need. The location is amazing, we realised more and more during the week that we couldn't have found a better spot in Palma. Located in the heart of the old town, but just off a main street, the apartment is unbelievably quiet. Our two kids shared a room with a double bed comfortably, and thought the beds were very comfy. A detail worth mentioning is that the internet worked really well, which was much appreciated by all :)

Fantastic gem in the old town

This is a very bright, well-designed penthouse that combines modern design with quirky moorish touches. We loved the feeling for detail, such as the glass ceiling above the kitchen island. You would never think you are just a few steps away from the bustling Passeo de Born - with all it's restaurants and shops - when you sit on the terrace and look out over the rooftops. From up here you can watch the sun setting and listen the distant chime of bells from the monastaries in the old town.

The beds are very comfortable, and the stylish and sleek bathroom has a big rain head shower.

The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to all our questions. We would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely Apartment, Excellent location !

The photos really don't do it justice ! It is lovely, smart and stylish design, well looked after and a nice space to mingle. Particularly enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace with a glass of wine. I stayed with relatives, and they too were impressed. The location was really good. We were able to get everywhere, and the immediate area had a number of restaurants and bars very close. Good for shopping too if that's what you like to do. The apartment had everything needed from a facilities point of view, the kitchen was well equipped if you really wanted to cook yourself ! The stairs to gain entrance are a bit steep in places and a number of flights to tackle, so not entirely suitable for people with walking difficulties. But once you do get to the top - it was well worth it. Overall would definitely recommend and will be booking again.

Awesome Penthouse in Palma Old Town

We just loved this modern and chic penthouse and especially the roof top terrace which was perfect for breakfasts, chilling in the sun and a drink before dinner. Spectacular penthouse in Palma

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was really nicely furnished and had everything we could ask for. Lovely breakfasts at the roofterrace in the mornings wich also was the perfect place for a cocktail before dinner. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice and quiet at night. We could really recommend this spectacular penthouse.

The wide range of restaurants, nightlife and shopping is within 1-2 minutes walk. The very popular tapas restaurants TAST is located in the next block and the other across the street. Highly recommended! In our house body there are 2 very nice tapas restaurants which we usually buy our tapas and bring up to our terrace to enjoy overlooking the quiet streets and the sunset. For morning coffee we go down to Bar Bosch to do some people watching :) or just take our Nespresso cup ( the Nespresso shop is in the same building so it´s easy to get the cooffe for the machine) up on the terrace to enjoy the morning sun and the nuns singing in the monastery next door! If you feel like doing some fancy shopping Louis Vuitton is within a minutes walk / or just walk the small streets around the apartment to find a tremendous amount of small quaint boutiques with the most fantastic shopping, trull the shopping paradise in Europe I would say! And they all located just around this area! Many of the top rated restaurant is located just within a couple of minutes from the apartment (1-3 minutes) such as Sa Forn, (The spanish King´s favorite restaurant) make sure to make a reservation for this one! Try the Truffle pasta and Foi

Gras... Medium/high price, Don't miss it! Another great place is La Perla, Italian restaurant, VERY good! 5-10 minutes walk to both of them. Make sure to visit one of the many Enotecas to taste the fantastic wines of Mallorca! (Ajo and Ferrer are great wines!)

For groceries 3-4 minutes walk to Plaza Major /Eroski local supermarket or 3-4 minutes the other direction to El Corte Ingles for a wider selection of finer dining groceries. Do not miss out on grocery shopping on the big market located 5 minutes away Mercat Olivar. They are open from 6 am to 2 pm! Fresh fish, vegetables, meat, fruits, flowers, wines, all you can wish for! Make sure to have some salmon tapas oysters and some cava on standing foot right there during lunchtime! If you need some more suggestions on activities please let me know!
