Elk Loop VR : 3 BR/2 Bath - Outdoor Getaway...NOW WITH HIGH SPEED INTERNET!

You and your family will love this beautiful 3-bedroom (One Queen and Two King Beds) 2-bath home located just east of the city of Forks. With 1200 sq ft, you’ll have plenty of room to move about without losing that quaint, cozy atmosphere when it's time to cuddle up on the large couches. House is on the backside of a family-friendly loop community. It sits on just under ½ acre and borders state forest (trees, trees and more trees!) and just a short walk away is an idyllic trail that borders Elk Creek. Speaking of Elk, they have been known to frequent the yard. Waking up to a 500+ pound elk right outside your window is spectacular.

2022 Updates: We are happy to now have Starlink Internet, the fastest internet option available in our rural area, with speeds around 150 mpbs!
2020 Updates: Upgrades to hallway bathroom.
2019 Updates: New carpet and ceiling fans in all bedrooms.

We tried to give each room a slightly different aesthetic while capturing the beauty of the areas we travel to and the photos we take.

Spend your days enjoying the gorgeous area and come back to relax and unwind next to the wood fireplace! If staying in is more your style (or the rainy weather comes) a full hallway closet is dedicated to board games/cards, TV with Roku/Netflix/Amazon Prime streaming, and DVD’s. This home will feel like a perfect getaway with all the amenities to be your home away from home.

Great house!

This house is well appointed and perfectly clean. Very well-maintained. Its location is extremely convenient to any of the west Olympic peninsula activities. If you’re planning on spending any of your time on the beaches, then this location is perfect. The power was out for a short while during our stay, and the owner was quick to respond and give us guidance on how to proceed in the event of a sustained outage. As our party did not cook very much, we were not prepared for an outage, and the owner gave us guidance on which restaurants in town had generators and could provide assistance. Overall, EXCELLENT Stay!!

Perfect base for park exploration

Beautiful home with tasteful decor (especially the art!) This is the perfect base for exploring the rainforest. There was so much provided that wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy the fireplace, board games and soft beds a bit more

Aaron and Ravae are lucky to get to enjoy Forks six-months out of the year and are now excited to share there home in the beautiful Olympic Peninsula with you. When they are not in Forks they are traveling for their fishing guide business, Angler’s Obsession, to Klickitat, WA, Key Largo, FL, and New Orleans, LA. They wanted to reflect their travels (and Aaron’s photography) a bit in the house, so each bedroom is themed after a location they live. Ravae loves to cook (and play games) so the kitchen is equipped with all the necessities to make home cooked meals. Aaron just loves fishing and he is a pretty darn good photographer.

Why they chose this property

Forks is such a majestic place. We were drawn here by the fish (Wild Winter Steelhead) and fell in love with the area and community. Settling down was in our mindset when we purchased the home, but alas we have decided to continue traveling.

What makes this property unique

There is so much to see and do if you love the outdoors and our home is the perfect location for it all! Although it is only a few miles from town the property border DNR (public forest land) and is at the back of a loop community.
