Boutique complex of only 10 apartments, communal pool

Book 3 weeks between 1 May and 31 October and receive the 3rd week free (applies to 'pied a terre', and Casa Margarita).

This development is situated in Jamestown Park, Holetown, in the heart of Barbados' west coast. The apartments are only a 4 minute walk to Settlers beach; also within walking distance is the very upscale shopping complex Lime Grove, where you can find the finest high end retailers, as well as restaurants, bars, cafes and a cinema. The apartments have been built with the emphasis on outdoor living, with open-plan spaces and full-width sliding doors leading onto large private patios, in addition to a shared swimming pool on site.

The apartments come equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. The double bedroom has air conditioning, additional ceiling fans and a wardrobe. The American style kitchen and living spaces, also suited with ceiling fans, means you'll have a comfortable space to enjoy TV and WiFi. Best of all is the private outdoor space: the large patio comes with a dining table and four chairs, as well as lounge chairs and a drinks table for your pleasure. We look forward to your stay!

Things to do: Atlantis Submarine, Tall Ship Cruises, diving, swimming with turtles, moonlit walks across the beach. Visit Harrison's Cave, stalactite and stalagmite formations in an underground cavern only explored in the 1970's, or explore the Barbadian Sugar Plantation Houses, and visit the Flower Forest and Orchid World. Alternatively, have a fabulous lunch or sunset dinner cruise on the Harbour master or Tiami sipping rum punches whilst enjoying a fabulous sunset, or opt for a pirate cruise on the Jolly Roger. Bougainvillea, (Ixora 4) is on the ground floor with direct access to the communal swimming pool. Sliding doors lead onto the patio where there is a dining table and 4 chairs, also 2 chairs and a drinks table for relaxing. The American style kitchen / lounge has stylish furnishings with a sofa, side tables, breakfast bar, and satellite TV, local telephone and wifi. The fully fitted kitchen has a washing machine,microwave, kettle etc. The double bedroom, has a queen bed, fitted wardrobe and the bathroom has a walk in shower. A small safe is also fitted for your personal items. For your comfort there is air con units in both the bedroom and lounge area, plus ceiling fans.

Brand new with contemporary furniture and a large patio for 'Al Fresco' living. Gated community with secure entry, friendly neighbours and many wildlife to watch, including the green monkeys you can often watch stealing the bananas!

Perfect

We arrived at Bougainvillea to be greeted by a lovely lady who showed us round the apartment and guided us through everything we needed to know. The apartment was absolutely fantastic, spotless with everything we needed, plenty of towels including beach towels. Andrea (housekeeper) came and cleaned for us which was brilliant.

The Apartment was well equipped with nothing forgotten! With two lovely patio areas with seats & table, one coming out from the lounge and one coming out from the bedroom The pool & pool area was great, very clean and well maintained.

The apartment was very near everything, just a short 5 min walk to the Garage which sold everything you would want and then just across the road the supermarket/mall.

The Beach was about a 4 min walk which would take you Discovery Bay Beach or you could walk a bit further down to Surfside/Zaccios Beach or you could walk further up to Mullins, Alleynes or any beach to be honest.

Limegrove which is also just a 4 min walk has lovely shops and restaurants & bars within easy reach and also just over the road from there is 1st & 2nd Street, again with bars and restaurants & just another couple of minutes walk further down are more lovely restaurants & bars, including Tides, Zaccios, Drift, Beach House and many more.

So, in a nutshell, this apartment is a Gem which is perfectly positioned for everything. I would recommend this to any of my friends and family and we will definitely be returning ........

Great location for access to Hometown.

In general very happy with location, facilities and cleanliness of apartment. Only downside was bedroom a bit small and wardrobe space a bit limited hence the 4 stars. However would consider renting again and recommend to others. You would have to walk quickly to get to beach in just 4 minutes! :-)

Would 100% recommend!

Stayed in Pierre De Terre apartment 3. Was a lovely modern and clean apartment situated brilliantly for the centre of Holetown, with just a few minutes stroll to a beach, bars, bus stop and the shopping centre. The small pool area was lovely and clean and there was never anybody there. We didn't use it either but it was great if you didn't want to use the beaches.

The agent was very efficient and kind enough to let us stay until 2pm on check out day for no extra charge.

We felt safe here due to good security but to be honest, felt safe in Holetown generally. The apartment had everything you might need and the free wifi was very useful.

Holetown itself is fantastic, expensive, but fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to return to Holetown and Ixora apartments.

We just keep returning

love this development, it is small, friendly, and extremely well looked after. We spent three weeks in Kerensa and it was everything we hoped for - very well equipped and of course spotless. The outside area is well positioned for easy access to the pool and also a very sociable area. Only a very short walk to Holetown where there are numerous bars, restaurants and a large supermarket. We found things slightly cheaper this year, which is probably due to the fact that the cost of living in the UK has risen. Among our favourite places to eat were Flindt (great burgers) and Tides in Holetown, Lone Star and Island Plates in Speightstown. We ate at these restaurants at lunchtime which is always better value and you make the most of any sea views. Great music at the Golden Anchor on a Friday night, which is a short walk away and it's really cheap. A must is a visit to the One Love Bar in First Street on Sunday night - karaoke was never like this in the UK!

Holetown is approximately a 35 minute drive from the airport. In the immediate vicinity you will find restaurants, bars and a very fine bakery/patisserie. The centre of Holetown is about a 5 minute stroll from the apartment and include multiple shops, banks, post office, police station etc. The newly opened Lime Grove Lifestyle Centre is a fabulous oasis in the centre of Holetown and showcases many designer boutiques including Ralph Lauren, Armani Exchange and Breitling to name but a few, stylish coffee shops, bars and restaurants allow for relaxation whilst browsing, The centre also incorporates a gym and beauty salon to rejuvenate even the weariest shopper. The shopping mall has a coffee area, small duty free Cave Shepherd outlet, a well stocked supermarket, Internet café and boutiques. An additional walk of 5 minutes will bring you to a larger Cave Shepherd Duty Free shop.

There are numerous bars/restaurants within walking distance for a variety of budgets. There are restaurants specialising in Italian, Indian or Thai as well as traditional Bajan food.

The island has the relatively tranquil Caribbean Sea on the west coast and and on the east coast the invigorating Atlantic Ocean.
