There are many condos to choose from for your vacation needs. How do you choose? First you have to decide what amenities are important to you because everyone has a different idea of luxury. If you are looking for a condo that has everything you need (so you don't have to bring a lot with you), that offers a secure place to vacation, that is kept up to date and clean, and that has a great view, then you have come to the right place. With 55 acres in our gated community you have many amenities that other places can't offer. We have nine tennis courts in their own beautiful location by the bay (instead of on a garage rooftop) that offer many opportunities for organized play. We also have a dedicated room for socials where you can join others in card games or social gatherings, beautifully landscaped grounds, and the section of beach most popular for shelling, walking, and which is a natural habitat for the local wildlife.

About Lorraine Innes

We are Bill and Lorraine. We live in NH and have been coming to Marco Island for the past 25 years. We have owned this condo for 20 years and we have another condo at South Seas which we have owned for 25 years. We love Marco and wish we could get there more often, especially in the winter.

Our grand kids, who are now teens, do not like us being gone for long. It is nice to have such a close relationship with them but it does hinder our trips to Marco.

We enjoy being able to rent to others so they can experience the Marco Island Paradise. We are very conscientious about renting and feel a great responsibility to have everything in good order for our guests. I have made many friends through renting.

Why Lorraine Innes chose Marco Island

When looking for our first condo we visited many condos on the beach. We couldn't find anything that compared with South Seas. From the amenities to the shade offered around the pool to the beautiful 55 acres, we were hooked. We purchased in Tower III and as the years passed our infatuation with Marco only grew. When in the market for a second condo we again looked at many condos and again came back to South Seas as it was just the most unique place on the beach. So be bought a second condo in Tower IV and have never regretted either purchase.

From the amenities in South Seas to the many activities both on the water and on land in and around Marco there is always something to do.

We love the friendship at South Seas. It is nice to sit under the chickee huts and meet people from all over the world. It makes for a very pleasant afternoon chatting with people who we did not know before.

It is just a paradise and we love it.

What makes this condo unique

We fell in love with the long balcony that offers a gorgeous view of the beach and the Gulf. It is so relaxing to sit and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner while enjoying the view and breeze. South Seas Club has added 8 Pickle Ball Courts, Bocce Ball and Shuffle Board. That leaves 7 tennis courts. There is a great exercise room and if I wasn't so lazy I would use it. Also the Social Room does offer organized socials and card games during the on season.

There is just so much to love about this complex.

Hi Lorraine,

Just wanted to let you know that we had a great time in Marco, and your condo is just perfect, everything one could wish for.

We had 2” of rain up here and 50-60 Deg temps. While we were down there it was in the mid nineties with no rain.

We went for walks early, and stayed by the pool in the shade when it got too hot, and Anne even managed to pick some sand dollars during our walks.

Also went down Hwy. 41 and took an Everglade air boat ride that was cool, gator’s and all.

Anyway thanks again too bad we didn’t meet up with you guys, maybe next time, did you leave Marco to go home that week, or did you have to stay around to finish up your remodeling ?

Lovely property with responsive owners

Well stocked condo with the best views on the beach. Love being on the north end of the island with restaurants within walking distance. The balcony is the best part of the condo and has expansive views of beach, water and pool. Any beach item you might need is here. Same for kitchen supplies. The owners are very responsive to questions or problems and easy to work with. The pictures posted of their condo are all accurate; less a couple of trees gone during the hurricane. We will continue to return to this particular condo as long as we can!!

Marco 2018

Our condo was amazing, as usual. A little bit busier than usual (the secret is out that Marco is the best), guests being loud and not following the rules. I think the screening process for guests needs to be improved, otherwise, perfect location, amenities, etc.

Owner's Response: Hi Becky, Thanks so much for your review. This was a very busy year in Marco. Because of Hurricane Irma last fall, there has been more contractors in the building which increases the noise and confusion. Normally owners are not allowed to do work during the on season. I think there was just so many extra people there this year that rules were lax. We have not had this problem before and usually in March it is pretty busy there every year. Hopefully next year will find a more relaxing atmosphere.

Had a wonderful time as usual on Marco island. Weather was great, beach was fantastic for kids and running. Pool was well maintained. Rental unit had everything necessary to make home away from home.

Great place to stay, Beautiful View.

Everything was great.

Beautiful pool. Clean and enough chairs and tables for everyone. Very strict on young children jumping, yelling or bringing small toys into the pool, and of course throwing any sort of balls.

The condo was convenient, comfortable, very clean.

The availability of items such as the mini vacuum was good. It worked great picking up and sand from the ceramic or debris on the carpets so you didn’t track it everywhere especially in bed.

Regardng the bed, I rarely am able to sleep in bed on vacation because the beds are beat. I’m glad to say that I did have a good night’s rest “in bed” during my stay.

Also, we were very appreciative of the cart and beach chairs. I did not realize the distance to the beach. But from my perspective, it was a little exercise….you just had to be prepared with everything before going to the beach, because we weren’t coming back because you forgot something.

Having the Cable TV & Wifi was great to have to wind down the day after a long day at the pool or beach.

With regards to the pool, the rules are changing and right now there is a committee to look at them. Children have been allowed to bring small toys in the pool and I am not sure why it was not allowed when you were there. They do not allow balls because there has been rough play with footballs in the pool and standers by and children get hurt when someone hurtles a football and the catch is missed by the intended recipient. The rules are being reviewed to allow normal play but not allow play in the pool that would hurt others. Diving is not allowed for safety reason, which is common in most condo associations. Thanks for your comments as it is good to be able to explain the need for some of the rules.

Home away from home

This is our seventh year staying in this beautiful unit. Steps away from the pool & beach with gorgeous views. The unit is always immaculate and stocked with all of the comforts of home. Beach toys and games for the kids, family friendly movies, beach towels and a fully equipped kitchen. We love staying here and plan to continue our annual visits!

Well prepared, clean unit with fantastic views

We enjoyed our stay at this condo on Marco Island. We couldn't ask for a nicer, cleaner or better prepared unit. Everything needed for a stay at the beach was provided. Fantastic views from each room and the balcony.The owner also left a wealth of information on restaurants and places to go on Marco. Parking was indoors and security visible at the complex. We only wish that we could have stayed longer. We'd love to arrange another stay.

Marco Island is located in the area of the southwest Gulf known as the Paradise Coast. It is just north of the Everglades and just south of Naples. Because of Marco's location, it offers not only many opportunities for activities locally, but access to all the amenities that Naples and the Everglades have to offer. The Marco area is loaded with opportunities for water sports, night life, zoos, museums, golf and water parks. It's also a rich source of live entertainment including comedy clubs, amateur and professional theater, and an assortment of night clubs and music. The natural habitat right outside your window is a wonder to behold. Take guided nature walks on the beach and learn about the shells, birds, turtles and other creatures that live there. You may prefer to just kick back and relax. What better place to do it from than one of our condos in Marco Island.

Other Activities: Added activities include canoeing, kayaking, bird watching, shopping, live theater and movie theater and new to South Seas in 2012 are two Bocce Ball Courts and one Shuffleboard court and 8 Pickle Ball Courts. There are now 7 Har-Tru Tennis courts.
