Luxury Cowes Penthouse Apartment:

This three bedroom luxury self catering apartment is on the seafront top floor of the popular “Marinus” development, right on the water with spectacular and panoramic views over the Solent and River Medina. It is next to a busy marina with its many yachts. It is very close to the quaint and bustling centre of Cowes, with plenty of individual shops, restaurants, cafes and boutiques and a large supermarket is just minutes away.

Nearby are many tourist attractions, including Queen Victoria’s Osborne House. The apartment would be ideal for those wishing to relax whilst enjoying the views over the Solent and is also ideally located for families who want a comfortable environment from which to explore the island and its many attractions. This third floor apartment (serviced by a lift) offers spectacular views from the extensive outside deck and balcony and is a really luxurious home from home.

The open plan living area is delightfully furnished with teak furniture and stripped oak effect floors in the living room, kitchen and hallway. The bedrooms are all light and airy, comfortably carpeted and with views of the water. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. With electric central heating for the cooler months you’re assured of total comfort any time of the year. There is a luxury fully equipped kitchen.

Lift to the door, private secure parking, video entry phone, free internet access and much more. Less than a ten minute walk to all the amenities that Cowes has to offer.

Living/dining room with dining table and chairs for 8, 2 comfortable sofas and 2 armchairs, coffee table, flat screen HD TV (Sky) with DVD player and wi-fi internet access. The room is dominated by floor to ceiling windows giving panoramic views across the marina, the river Medina, Solent and Portsmouth in the distance.

Off the living room is the designer kitchen, with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave, with a wide range of pots, pans, utensils, china, glass and cutlery to ensure that you are able to cook and dine in style.

The light and airy master bedroom has a king-size bed, built-in wardrobe, dressing table with drawers, and Venetian blinds to ensure a good night’s sleep. There is also an en suite with bath with shower attachment, WC and wash basin.

The second bedroom also has two quality single beds, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers and Venetian blinds at the window.

The seafront third bedroom has a double sofa-bed, built-in wardrobe, extra chairs and Venetian blinds at the floor to ceiling windows through which you can enjoy a wonderful view of passing yachts. All bedrooms have quality linen, duvets and pillows, enhancing the luxury feel.

In addition there is a family bathroom providing shower, WC and washbasin. This room can also be used as an en-suite to the third bedroom. Both bathrooms have tiled floors and heated towel rails.

We were greeted by the friendly housekeeper who showed us round, with some nice provisions in the kitchen to settle in with.



Our 2 young children had a wonderful time in it, plenty of room to play. The top floor meant we had fantastic views over the Solent from the (child-friendly) balconies, watching the boats (and our Red Funnel ferry) come and go. So able to sit back and relax.



Having all the Sky Movies and Sky Sports channels available was a nice bonus, and free wi-fi.



Excellent location, just 5 minutes walk to Cowes High Street with a handful of coffee shops and some good (but often pricey) restaurants.



Secure parking for the car in gated parking area.



Could not have asked for more.



Then a fabulous week driving round the island visiting the attractions.

Another fantastic holiday in an amazing apartment

This is now the third time my family and I have stayed in this apartment and I cannot wait for the fourth.

The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing holiday and the location is amazing, if you like a high standard of accommodation and a wonderful view then this apartment is a must.

Being very close to the ferry, chain bridge, Cowes centre and having it's own parking only adds to the appeal.

Ged and Sharon are a real pleasure to deal with and make you feel very welcome, the communication from day 1 is superb.

You will not be disappointed if choose to book this apartment.

An amazing apartment

The service from Ged before I had even made a booking was great, and it didn't stop. Ged was really helpful, as was Sharon who looks after the day to day of the property. I couldn't fault the service at all.

I couldn't fault the apartment either - it was clean, well-maintained and spacious. Our group comprised of four adults and there was more than enough room for all of us.

The beds were comfortable in each of the rooms and there was plenty of storage space. The rooms themselves were large too, especially the master room that I was in. The en suite was great - very convenient, well stocked and clean too.

The living space was large and we spent a lot of time there. The kitchen had a lot of useful equipment that made cooking a delight. The dining table was huge and the sofas were very comfortable (with the Sky TV it was difficult to tear ourselves away).

Finally the view was amazing. It was so nice watching the boats come and go from either inside or from one of the two tables on the balcony.

The only downside was the car ferry that docked almost outside the window. It was there quite often - it didn't bother us at all, but it's worth pointing out.

Relax, chill and watch the world go by!

Met by the housekeeper and shown where to park, how to enter the building and apartment. Shown around, any questions answered and left to it....with a bottle of wine! Lovely touch along with fresh flowers in the hall.

The apartment is fantastic; spacious, well equipped (from bedrooms, bathrooms to kitchen), great balcony and terrace, stunning views. We have stayed in Marinus apartments before but this one excels. For most of the week there were 6 of us and we still had plenty of space. Kids enjoyed scooting in the car park and the along the water front (fenced in obviously!) Enjoyed sitting on the balcony for breakfast with the sun beating down on us then in the evening sat on the terrace with a G&T to watch the boats and beautiful views. Added bonus of binoculars in the apartment to see across to the mainland.

Brilliant location for Cowes town so enjoyed a stroll to the shops and along the sea front then easy for eating out in the evening.

Safe car parking, safe apartment.

Recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy everything IOW offers but in comfort and luxury.

Excellent

Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Cowes. The apartment was clean & comfortable and very well equipped. It's well located and we had no major problems.

The one thing that let it down in our opinion was the sofa bed. It's not a comfortable sleep for two people and we spent the week sleeping on the floor. For one person it might be ok if you like sleeping in a hammock but it's definitely not suitable for two.

Everything else about the apartment was excellent.
