We are a large family of skiers and decided to purchase and renovate this typical Savoyard house where we can enjoy family holidays together during the winter and summer .

This traditional house sits on the edge of the national park with stunning mountain views. Villarbon is a tiny hamlet a stones throw from the centre of St Martin de Belleville. Nestled on the edge of the mountain side you can experience traditional rural life,take in the breath taking scenery and if you are lucky see wild mountain animals in their natural habitat.

What makes this house unique

Maison Blanche Traditional Savoyard Architecture which has been newly renovated to a high standard offering modern facilities. Tucked away in a small but accessable hamlet, you can relax after a hard days ski in front of a log fire in peaceful rural surroundings.

We had wonderful days in your house. We loved the quiet location and views to the mountains. Cooking in the fine kitchen and sitting in front of the log burning fire was wonderful. We enjoyed fantastic skiing with one bad day . The snow conditions were very good and it was very sunny. A little too warm. I am sure we will come back again.

Fantastic location - So close to Saint Martin

Angela's property is delightful and we were warmly welcomed by Dave to the property even though it was late. Dave also help us out a lot and I must say he was a star. The property was immaculate and the log fire was a very pleasing element at the end of a very hard days skiing. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Great location and fitted out to a high standard

Great property with four good sized bedrooms. Fitted out to a high standard and well thought through, for example 2 large fridges so you dont have to keep going to the supermarket. The only small downside is that there is no toilet on the ground floor, so people in those rooms have to climb 2 flights of stairs.

10 go skiing and have a holiday to remember!

We had a terrific time and the house proved to be a convenient and homely base from which to explore the slopes and fields of the area. 5 adults and 5 grandchildren aged 9 and under enjoyed the stunningly efficient log burner, the communal kitchen/diner was a natural gathering space and the bedrooms proved more than adequate and comfortable. The 'facilities' were very clean and modern and the kitchen well equipped. Being less than a five minute drive to the ski lifts of St Martin de Belleville was ideal with the full range of the 3 Valleys ski area a wonderful bonus. Walks in the fields and foothills revealed wild boar and birds including woodpeckers and buzzards, and a landscape whose majesty infuses a humility and awe of mother Nature at her best. We had a wonderful holiday and would love to return one day.

Highly recommended for families

A really well equipped house. We loved the large kitchen and lounge with log burning stove. It was only 5 mins to the lifts in St Martin, where you can park all day for free.

Superb! Minutes from ski lift and restaurants.

Superb location and luxury accommodation. We frequent the alps on a yearly basis and would rate this as one of the most enjoyable places to stay. Great for skiers and non skiers alike for either a winter or summer holiday. The house is nicely furnished with stunning views of the Alps. Two thumbs up!!

Part of the 3 Valleys ski area, Villarbon, Saint-Martin de Belleville is an ideal base for quick access to the largest ski area in the world, renowned for its 600km of runs. Taking the high-speed 8-person gondola from the centre of the village and just one fast modern chair lift you can be at the top of the 'Tougnete' ridge less than ¼ of an hour. From there enjoy the amazing panoramic views and decide whether to ski to Meribel, Mottaret, Les Menuires or Saint-Martin taking the choice of runs best suited to your level. You can then carry on easily towards Val Thorens or Courchevel.
