The holiday accommodation in Malaga is located in a quiet zone, on the fifth floor of a building (with lift). Renovated in spring 2012, the holiday rental is beautifully decorated and with high quality furnishings. Affording stunning views to the Malagueta bullfighting arena, the Alcazaba Fortress and located just 5 minutes walk to the beach.

The holiday apartment in Malaga comprises of: large bright living room with dining table, sofa bed and flat screen TV, nice fully equipped kitchen, lovely spacious bedroom with double bed, wardrobes, dresser and access to the en suite bathroom with shower.

This holiday accommodation is highly recommended for its high quality and ideal location close to beach and city centre.

We can provide private secure parking for 15 € per day. The parking spot is situated 140 meters from the apartment.

Great place though owner not very pleasant

Had few issues with this apartment. Check-in done by someone who didn't know what they were doing, not explaining how things work in the apartment; that led to us not knowing how the boiler works and only one of us had a shower the first night. Water in the shower was draining extremely slowly hence bathroom has an unpleasant smell each morning. Lack of very basic supplies which I understand as this could be a cultural differences, though still believe it could improve. One night before we left, the headboard in the bedroom fell down and we were lucky not to have an accident. Nothing happened, though the owner was very upset suggesting that we damaged her property. On the morning of checkout, she was very unpleasant to us. We had a different experience with an agency we dealt with. All staff were responding very quickly to our concerns and had time to speak to us after our stay.

Overall, we enjoyed Malaga, apartment looks a bit different now to the pictures you see here, though still nice. We were out most of the time of our short 5 day holiday, so couldn't say anything else. The distance to the beach is about 5 mins walk. Maintenance is needed in order to keep the apartment on high standard. And the owner could do with a smile sometimes.

Next time we will think of booking an apartment through air b&b if it's a long stay or a hotel if the stay is below 7 days.

A very comfortable stay in a great Malaga location

This apartment is in a very well-kept building in a prime location in Malaga. By that I mean easy access to the center of Malaga by a very short bus ride or a 20 minute walk along the park-lined Passeo Parque as well as a 10 minute walk to Paseo del Muelle Uno with its shops and restaurants. A 24-hour taxi stand is a block away. It is marked as a taxi stand.

It is in a very nice neighborhood with easy access to a grocery store, less than 1/2 block, a very good selection of restaurants and 1 block from the beach. There is also a Chinese variety store on Paseo Maritimo Cdad. de Melilla where cheap household supplies are available.

The apartment as pictured is accurate as well as its descriptions of amenities. The washing machine/dryer is typical of Spain in that it takes a long time to run the cycles. However the dryer is important as there is no outdoor space for hanging wet items. There is a drying rack. The heat was fine though the bathroom did not benefit much from the heating system. But no big deal. The kitchen was nicely equipped with dishes, etc. The bed and pillows were excellent and I especially appreciated the ironed and nicely patterned bed linens.

During our 12 day stay, we went to the Picasso Museum and the Auto museum both very good; the Thyssen and Music Museums which were okay; the Centre Pompidou which is very, very modern.

On day trips, the zoo in Fuengirola is really worth it. The Viator to Glbraltar is okay. It is a very long day trip. If you want to experience what is not particularly interesting when you get there, it will, at least, get Glbraltar off your check off list. The Viator to Neja is fine; if you don't want to do the caves, go to Benitez restaurant for a fabulous view and very good food, especially sea bass.

Near the apartment, El Fogon is a higher end and very good restaurant. Overall there are all price points and flavors available in the neighborhood, including an Indian and Persian one.

In summary, we would stay at the apartment again.

This is our third visit

We like the location and the amenities in the apartment. The owner is also really helpful and resolves any issues that arise - and the only ones have been to do with the internet.

We love the walks we are able to take from the apartment; we are able to walk in the evening to our favourite restaurants in the city. We enjoy watching the DVDs we take and we find the pictures quality on the TV very good.

The bed and the settee are very comfortable and the shower is great.

Other people in the block are very friendly and we are delightful to recommend this apartments.

We certainly plan to return to Malaga and to this apartment.

Nice comfy flat in very good area

Nice clean, comfortable apartment in a safe, quiet area. The flat looked much smaller than the photos but was abdolutely fine. The bed & sofa were very comfortable. All in all a good stay, 10 mins walk into the old town, beach & marina area even closer. A couple of minor niggles was no hand soap or dishwasher tablets provided, just would have been a nice touch & wouldn't cost much to provide. Neives met us promptly and was very welcoming.

Lovely apartment near the beach

My wife and I were very satisfied with this flat. It's in the area of Malagueta, 2minute walk to the lovely beaches. The owner was very friendly and spoke good English. She met us promptly at the apartment at the beginning and end of our holiday week and there were no issues with payments and deposit. The flat was clean and the bed was comfortable. Some people have mentioned some noise but we didn't have any issues with this. The only time we heard anything was when the family next door were having dinner each night and there was chatter and some sounds of dining but they normally finished by 10-11pm or so and from then it was quiet all night. We didn't experience any noise in the mornings and I am a very light sleeper so I would have noticed! No noise from the outside either as the windows face a quiet street. There are some lovely local restaurants in the area but also Malaga old town is only 10-15 minute walk away. There is a Solaga supermarket across the road but we preferred the larger one, Mercadona, which was about 5minute walk. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to cook a meal and there is a heating/airconditioning system in the apartment. The only recommendations I would make to the owner are that it would be nice to have just a couple of dishwasher tablets so that we didn't need to buy a big box of them and also it would be good to have a small vacuum cleaner as you can't avoid bringing some sand in your shoes/clothes when you've been to the beach. Apart from that, this was a perfectly located, lovely little flat with a friendly owner. I would highly recommend it.

Great Location, Nice Apartment

We recently spent four nights in this Malaga flat. The location is exactly what we were looking for - Close to the boardwalk, beach, historic center, castle, museums, etc. There is a market, butcher, and many restaurants within a block or two as well. Nieves met us promptly and Antonio (the building's day porter) was always smiling and a joy to interact with using our developing Spanish language skills.

The building is secure and offers two elevators to the fifth floor apartment. Pros include good quality WiFi, a comfortable couch, a fully equipped kitchen, nice beach towels, and strong water pressure in the shower.

The few cons we experienced included a bit of noise from the neighboring units, hot water limits (only noticeable if you take long showers), and a lack of some basic nice-to-have items like trash bags and dish soap.

Overall, the apartment met our needs well with the highlights being its location, the wifi, and the people that we interacted with here.

Malaga is Andalusia's second largest city with 600,000 inhabitants and is located on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. The city has many exciting cultural activities and is in the race to become Cultural City 2016. Malaga dating back to 800 BC and has over the years been marked by the Greeks, Romans and Arab Maurer and it bears the imprint of the city today. The city is in the eyes of many partly overlooked, as many tourists choose to spend their holidays in the cities surrounding Malaga. But it includes everything you need for a perfect holiday, as it is a strategically good location. There is plenty of culture, city break, beaches, mountains and there are only 100 km to the Sierra Nevada, where you can ski. Or what about a trip to Granada and watch the world-famous castle Alhambra which is only an hour drive by car. Malaga is full of small bars and restaurants where you can enjoy various kinds of tapas and good wine. We warmly recommend the city for a perfect city break.
