private home with a beautiful view
The driveway into this home is lined with trees on both sides, a very private setting once you arrive. Lots of room in the driveway for several vehicles. Beautifully set up fire pit with Adirondack chairs, as well as wood fireplace inside. A bit of a walk down to the water, but once there, it’s well worth it. Coffee or an afternoon cocktail on the dock is a must! So relaxing! The back patio on the home as a beautiful view of the water as well. Entry to the home was by phone, so if you weren’t with that person with the code, you wouldn’t be able to enter, hence 3 star for check in. The other disappointment was only being told that night after check in that the downstairs washroom was out of commission due to a water leak in a hot water tank that was reported the week before. A bit of an inconvenience when there are 8 ladies in the house and now only two functional washrooms. As for the barbecue, seems there have been reports in the past about the start up procedure? We couldn’t get it to work, which was very unfortunate for the steak supper we had planned. Other than these last items, I would recommend this location
