APARTMENT: In Haute-Nendaz ‘Grand Panorama’ is a modern and convenient apartment: 3 rooms (2.5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms), 103 m2, on 1st floor, ideal for a cosy family holiday. The Living/Dining room is with an open-hearth wood burning fireplace, cable TV, DVD and lovely mountain views. 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140 cm) and 1 pull-out single bed, with attached bath/WC. 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140 cm). Sleeping bunk-bed alcove with 1 x 2 bunk-beds, and 1 pull-out bunk bed. Open-plan full kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave, cheese Fondue set). Shower/WC. The terrace of 87 m2 faces north and west, and is accessible from all rooms. There is garden furniture and a barbecue, so it is ideal for eating outside or relaxing in the fresh air. Beautiful view of the mountains and Rhone valley. Facilities: washing machine, children's high chair, fold-away baby cot, hair dryer. High speed internet (free WiFi). Reserved parking space. Ski storage locker. Please note: non-smokers only (smoking permitted outside on terrace). Pets allowed subject to prior owner approval. Access to private heated indoor swimming pool (15m x 7m), sauna and sun-deck of the neighbouring building of Domaine des Reines C/D at 100m.

RESIDENCE: The apartment building ‘Grand Panorama’ was built in 2005. It is a quiet location in the resort, but only 300m from the centre and all amenities. In the house are: lift, storage room for skis, washing machine & tumble dryer (for shared use, extra cost). There is motor access to the building and parking at the building. The location allows for easy access to the large, well-known 4 Valleys/Verbier ski region: footpath to Nendaz Tracouet lift station at 300m, or a ski bus stop at 200m (ski bus free of charge). There is a kindergarten ski-slope at 200m, an ice rink at 300m, and ski-sport facilities at 600m. There are many options to self-cater in the apartment or to dine out. There are 2 supermarkets at 300m. The village has local produce, wine shops, and delicatessens. There are numerous restaurants, from basic pizza to gourmet dining; numerous bars from apres-ski fun to stylish wine bar to late night; plus several nightclubs. There is an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court at 200m. Children's playground and activity park at 200m. Climbing wall and summer Beach Volleyball court at 300m. Numerous walking trails and Spa des Bisses at 200m. Spa centre at 200m. Golf course at 18 km.

VILLAGE: Haute-Nendaz is a charming winter sports and summer mountain holiday resort, family focused, in a convenient location, with beautiful views over the Alps and the Rhone valley, 18 km south-west from Sion. The village ranges from 1350m to the top of Mont Fort at 3300m. There are countless winter and summer activities available for all ages, and levels of ability and energy! The mountain charm of Alpine meadows, woods, wildlife and nature is in abundance, as well as the opportunity to sample the excellent local food and wine. The area and village are world renowned for the local Herens cattle, Bisse walks (mountain irrigation channels that wind over the hillsides for kilometres) and Alphorn playing. Information about winter, summer & all year activities, including ski lift openings, is too much to mention in detail here so please see the Nendaz tourism website: www.nendaz.ch. There are covered public car parks @ CHF 13 per day. There is a 4* Spa and Wellness centre with sauna and massage at the Hotel 4 Vallées, see their website for details: www.hotelnendaz4vallees.ch. In the resort: supermarkets, all variety of shops, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, banks, restaurants, bars, and night clubs. Also: pharmacies, doctors and a new medical centre. There is a fitness centre. A list of babysitters is available at the tourist office.

Great apartment, but road to it needs more gritting in winter.
The best self-catering apartment I have ever stayed in (and I've stayed in quite a few!). Warm, comfortable, spotlessly presented, very well equipped, and with a marvellous view. Excellent communication with the owner. In winter there can be a problem in that the short but steep road between the apartment and the village is not properly maintained and kept clear of ice by the local authority.

We stayed in Nendaz the second time. The apartment was cozy, well equipped, and has an fantastic view. It is in an quiet area, so we could easy relax. We will return.

Sehr tolle Wohnung mit allem was man für eine Woche Skiferien braucht. Es war alles sauber und gepflegt. Das Hallenbad zur freien Benutzung macht sehr Spass. Die Gondel ist über einen Fussweg erreichbar. Dies erfordert etwas Kondition, war aber auch für acht jährige Kinder machbar.
