The house comprises a large double reception room on the raised ground floor with wood floors and integrated audio, downstairs leads to a large open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room with wood floors throughout, a guest cloak room, private patio. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with Juliet balcony, a second double bedroom with bunk bed and a single bed (children only), a family bathroom with bath with flat screen TV, separate shower and underfloor heating. In the loft is the master bedroom with en suite shower room, under floor heating and integrated audio.

Homestead Road is conveniently located in the heart of Fulham, a short walk from Parsons Green underground station and all of the amenities of Fulham Broadway and the Fulham Road.

Great for our Family trip to London.

We are a family with 3 children. This was perfect for our needs. With multiple bathrooms and multiple sleeping options for our family. We spent much of our time traveling to tourist spots in London. The home was between 2 stops on the District Line which allowed great access to the subway. Yet, on a night we went to see Wicked, it was a reasonable taxi ride away (20 pounds). The kitchen area was very nice with spacious seating for our family. The owners left very nice welcome gifts and great local instructions and suggestions for shops, restaurants, etc. We definitely recommend this for families. The only concern, which is well documented in the floor plan, is multiple stairs. Those with difficulty going up / down stairs would not fit well. WiFi was very good and Sonos capability to play our own audio was a plus.

Perfect Base for Family Visiting London

This home on Homestead Road was perfect for our family of four visiting London for a week in August 2015. Homestead Road itself was quiet and the home was just a 10-minute walk to the Fulham-Broadway Tube Station, past grocery stores (including Whole Foods), restaurants, pubs and other retailers. It was a slightly shorter walk to the Parson’s Green Tube Station. My 9 year old son and 14 year old daughter each had their own comfortable rooms, and shared a bathroom on the 3rd floor (which was one level above entry level) while my wife and I used the 4th floor loft bedroom and en suite. The main entry floor featured a large living room (including a Play Station that kept my son well-engaged). The bottom level included another large living room area, dining room and the bright and well-appointed kitchen that included laundry and a Nepresso machine. The rear garden was very comfortable with outdoor seating for summer breakfasts. The home was clean, bright and comfortable throughout, with a high priority placed on a crisp contemporary design aesthetic. The owner’s welcoming hand-written note and generous welcome gift were also very much appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here very much, would absolutely stay again and recommend it highly to others looking for a comfortable family retreat with easy tube access to the heart of London.

A lovely family home in a great residential neighbourhood

This house is an easy 5 - 10 minute walk from the local Underground Station. It is 3 minutes' walk to the Fulham Road where taxis and buses pass with great regularity. The location is therefore ideally suited for a family which wants the neighbourhood and residential experience while being close to the West End and to major destinations. The house itself is spread across several floors and with a strong emphasis on family and design. The house interior is perfect and clearly with the touch of an owner who cares considerably about design and yet functionality. As is typical with London houses, the interior is driven by a central staircase, leading from a basement to a top floor, attic-like loft master bedroom (with adjoining bathroom). We were a family of 6 and we were entirely comfortable in the house: 3 teenagers sharing a room meant for 3, an elderly mother in law in her own room and my wife and I in the top floor master bedroom. Nearby are numerous restaurants (The Brown Cow being quite gourmet-like), long-standing pubs and a large green/square. Although we did not meet the owners, we did correspond with them and they were extremely generous in their personal greeting touches. The property manager was also very professional, courteous and friendly. A lovely, lovely home for a Christmas retreat!

Perfect for Family Reunion

This house was perfect for our three-generation family trip: kid-friendly yet very stylish; very comfortable with lots of entertainment options; and both well-appointed and well-located. On a quiet street, this house is just a 10-minute walk to the Tube and on a convenient bus line, with several grocery stores, restaurants, pubs and parks nearby. We greatly appreciated the personal touches that the owner added to our stay, which made us feel welcomed and at home, and we enjoyed the many amenities that the house offered. Our two-week stay was made much more comfortable by this lovely house. We especially enjoyed spending time in the lower level, which had a light and spacious kitchen and dining area and places to relax both in and outside. Thank you!

This prestigious area is home to many of London’s Museums with the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum all in close proximity to each other. Close by you will also find the Royal College of Music, Imperial College London and The Royal Albert Hall.

The Royal Albert Hall hosts many large music events but, also plays live jazz in the evening in the Edgar Room where you can enjoy supper or listen to music in Café Consort while enjoying tea or coffee. Chelsea’s own Royal Court Theatre can be found in Sloane Square and is Britain’s leading national company dedicated to new work by innovative writers from the UK and around the world.

Fulham can also offer a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city with access to its green areas and parks, the beautiful Hyde Park, Green Park and Buckingham Palace Gardens are all in the vicinity and Battersea Park is just the other side of the river with boating, café and beautiful walks.

Shopping can be found at Harrods, Selfridges, Fortnum and Mason and the charming shops of Jermyn Street with Sheppard’s Market and its quaint restaurants and bars close by.
