Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends
We loved staying at Annie's cabin over a quick weekend trip to North Carolina for a wedding. We had five adults + 1 kid in the house, and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own spot, especially with the deck and great outdoor space. The guys loved hanging out by the pond and fire pit (I think they made 3 fires during the 2 night stay!) and the scenery was picturesque from the back porch as well. Everything in the cabin was labeled making it very easy to find things - someone needed scissors at the last minute, and within seconds, scissors were found in the kitchen drawer. While not the fanciest cabin you could choose, it was exactly as pictured and we were very comfortable and happy throughout our stay. And the price was a steal! Mark and Annie were also absolutely the easiest owners to work with that I've ever come across. They were so great about anticipating any information we would need and reaching out in advance of the trip to make sure everything was in order, and they were extremely timely after the trip to let us know that everything was in great shape after we checked out. It was the perfect amount of communication - not too much, not too little, and I loved that! Thanks, Annie and Mark!
Better than we expected
Well Annie's Cabin was the best vacation home we have ever stayed in. The home was clean and very comfortable in every way.. The kids loved the small pond and adventures in the woods. The entire visit was greater than our exceptions. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit the NC mountains... We will be back soon.

Annie’s Cabin is exceptional in striking decor & comfortable surroundings! The water view is so relaxing, the special touches such as lots of games for all, and good choices of dvd’s provide a way to enjoy & relax.
I was surprised that the cabin, being in a wooded area, is near so many attractions.
Our family of 3 grandparents, 2 parents & a 6 yr old could relax comfortably for our stay!
Thanks to Annie & Mark for sharing!
Well-furnished, clean cabin!
We stayed at Annie's Cabin for two nights during the Grandfather Mt Highland Games. The location was close and convenient. Very quiet with grocery and restaurants nearby. The cabin itself was very clean and furnished comfortably. Everything was clearly labeled and easy to use. Beautiful, relaxing deck and even a fire pit ready to go if we wanted it! Would definitely stay again!
An enjoyable family vacation over the Fourth of July
We all enjoyed our stay at Annie's Cabin. We watched fireworks from Sugar Mountain, fished, roasted marshmallows over the fire pit and visited waterfalls. The cabin is very conveniently located.
Quiet, neat, clean, well-equipped cabin
Stayed at the cabin for 2 weeks - delightfully quiet. Everything was neat, clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed watching the local wildlife near the pond. Would definitely stay at the cabin again.
