This is a beautiful apartment, great size, very nicely decorated, with great kitchen and large balcony. It is clean and air conditioned with internet access. It is located in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. Anna’s husband greeted us with yummy brioche as Anna was out of town when we arrived. He gave us a quick overview of the city and ideas of where to eat and do grocery. Anna was very responsive to all emails we sent to her prior to our arrival. She was very kind to let us leave behind our luggage the day of our departure even though she had other guest at her apartment. Both Anna and her husband are great people ad very helpful. We will definitely stay at their place again next time we visit Nice.
My son and I stayed here on spring break and had a great time. It has a huge kitchen and a nice balcony to sit and have breakfast or dinner. There are several grocery stores nearby and even a Bio store (organic grocery) just around the corner. It's a few minutes walk to restaurants or to the beach. It's also an easy bus ride to and from the airport. Communications with Madam Anna were excellent. I would definitely stay again if I'm in Nice.
My sister and I (from Ireland) stayed in this lovely apartment from 3rd to 10th of June 2015 and we had the most wonderful holiday imaginable. The apartment is exquisitely decorated and perfectly located in a quiet residential area of Nice which is convenient to the promenade and also to the main train station, Nice ville, from where we travelled to Monaco and Cannes on different days, stopping off at selected locations on the beautiful Côte d'Azur. The apartment with its lovely balcony, free wifi and most effective, silent air conditioning was perfect for our needs.
Last but by no means least we would like to pay tribute to our wonderful hostess, Anna who went to endless trouble advising us on restaurants and places of interest etc. Her patience and kindness really enhanced our stay.
We both highly recommend this most attractive apartment!
This was our first VRBO rental and to be honest we were a little nervous. We chose this property based on previous reviews and email conversations with Anna. We felt secure after receiving the professional rental agreement and decided to move forward with the rental. What you see is what you get. There are no hidden charges, but you will need to bring cash or go to the ATM down the street. The owners do not take credit cards. Anna was very sweet and greeted us with fresh croissants. She oriented us to Nice by highlighting areas on the city map and making suggestions for travel. There is a drawer in the kitchen with many tourist brochures.
This beautiful residential area is central to everything in Nice. A few blocks to the bus stop, train station, supermarkets, bakeries, cote d'azur, museums, and about a mile to vieux Nice (old town). The train station is very busy, but there are people there to help navigate the system. We bought a train ticket towards Antibes and Cannes one day and towards Italy the other. It's easy to get on and off once you figure out the train schedule. I would highly recommend stopping off in the area of Eze around the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The scenery is amazing and you can walk arount the Cap along the sea - breathtaking!
The best restaurants in Nice are within walking distance. A couple of our favorites were Pastry Plaisirs for lunch and MelodyNice for dinner. Both were small restaurants with excellent food and service. Most restaurants open at 7pm and some are closed on Mondays and holidays, but the cafes are open longer throughout the day. Most days we just bought fresh bread, local fruits and vegetables, and of course wine. We picked up a bouquet of flowers at the famous Cours Saleya (flower market in old town) to enjoy during our stay. This cozy charming apartment perfect for two had everything we needed and we hope to return!
My husband and I stayed at this lovely apartment for our 30th anniversary in late September for 5 nights. The apartment was super clean, had everything we needed and in a great location. Anna was very helpful and extremely gracious. We will definitely be back!
