This condominium, Unit 1-103, is on the ground floor of the highly desirable Building One. It features a large lanai, a recently remodeled kitchen, and two newly remodeled bathrooms. The kitchen has rich granite counter tops, coordinating cabinets, plus a stainless steel built-in microwave, dishwasher, and under mount sink. The refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher were all purchased new in 2017 and have a sleek stainless steel finish. The bathrooms were also remodeled with upscale granite counter tops and under mount sinks. This condo also features a new island style king size bed and a new plantation shutter.

The large lanai overlooks a flat and open grassy area, the lush central garden, the newly rebuilt pond, and two spectacular lighted fountains. There is also a partial view of the ocean from the lanai where you might sight a whale in season. The lanai is a perfect spot to enjoy all of your meals, relax and read a book or just rest after a busy day exploring Maui.

There have been many other upgrades to the condominium for your enjoyment and comfort. Two Samsung flat screen TVs have been added to the living room and bedroom. There is a powerful air conditioner in the living room, which has been moved up on the wall for better circulation of cool air throughout the condo. In addition, there is ceramic floor tile everywhere except the bedroom. Also, a front loading washer and dryer were added as well as new patio, sling back chairs for your comfort. The condominium has been tastefully decorated in island style and in general is equipped with all the comforts of home to make your vacation an unforgettable experience.

The condominium is just a short walk across the street to the Kamaole III beach where you can swim, read a book under the trees, or just sit and watch the whales in season or the sunset. Building 1 is situated so that there is no problem with either street noise or pool noise. It also features easy access to the swimming pool, two hot tubs, barbecue grills, and tennis courts.

About Sharon Whipple

We are both retirees of The Dow Chemical Company where we worked for almost 30 years. Steve specialized in computer systems, where as, Sharon is a chemist and worked in Technical Service and Development related to water treatment. In retirement we both enjoy playing tennis and doing volunteer work. We also enjoy spending time with our two daughters, two son in laws, and three grandchildren. Managing our condo in Maui has been a great source of pride and accomplishment in our lives.

Why Sharon Whipple chose Kihei

We had vacationed at this property for several years and really loved it. It is a great family resort in a wonderful location near the beach. You can walk on the beach for miles in either direction and you can snorkel right in front of the condo. You can also walk to dinner and shopping if you are not up for a drive. We also love the fact that we see local Hawaiian's using the beach and park and can feel like we are a part of their culture.

What makes this condo unique

The central garden is absolutely beautiful with a variety of colorful flowering plants and trees. There is also a large pool and two hot tubs to enjoy after a busy day on the island. The BBQ areas are a short walk from the lanai of the condo and have been recently renovated. The four tennis courts are generally available and they are conveniently located. This is a low density condominium complex with plenty of room to walk around and enjoy the grounds.

This is s great location across from beautiful beaches. The property is lovely and well maintained.

The condo was comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. A beautiful pool area was great for an evening swim. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and meals. The owner had beach chairs, an umbrella, snorkeling equipment & boogie boards available. The beach was wonderful for swimming & snorkeling with lots of sea turtles & a variety of fish. It was a short walk across the street. We loved this spot & would definitely return!

Perfect Location with beautiful views

Great Location on this well stocked, well maintained condo! Full sun all day on the large Lanai and beautiful views of both the gardens of Kamaole Sands and the Ocean. The ground floor and flat lawn area in front of the Condo were perfect for us with very young children for them to go out and play. We would be delighted to stay in this Condo again for our Vacation next year. Thanks Sharon!

A Gem on Wailea and Kihei Border

This was a WORK trip for me and it was perfect. Sharon was a delight and helped expedite my last minute reservation. If you've never been to Maui I would highly recommend this property. Beautiful ocean view, right across the street from one of the best beach parks on the island and in walking distance to absolutely everything. The condo is stocked with all the basics one could need for vacation. They even provide laundry soap and the dishwasher for your stay. I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely Spot

This was a beautiful spot which has been recently very tastefully renovated. It was very well equipped. There is a large lanai with table, chairs and loungers, which faces toward the ocean. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner, who was very helpful and welcoming. Being across from the beach was a wonderful bonus. The grounds are amazing and well kept. The pool is well maintained. We would love to rerent this property in the future. In fact, our daughter and her husband have rented it for two week next summer and we recommended it to friends; however, it was not available during the winter months.

Great location in the complex

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands 3 of 3 visits to Maui now...couldn't think of a reason to change as this complex has eveything you need and more. We heard it was the most secure - given it is the only complex with 24 hour onsite security, whereas the others only have drive by security and it makes all the difference. The condo faces the wonderful inner courtyard fountain pool, and is a short walk to the BBQ. The lanai is awesome and a great place to be any time of day. The unit is well equipped and makes for a great vacation for a couple or small family. Great to be located close to the beach too - so walking over is not too far when carrying chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, snorkels, etc. Also, not a long return in case you forgot your sunscreen or hat! Across from the best beach in Kihei too.
