Truly RIGHT on the water. Beautiful lake, great area - even greater if you enjoy wine!
Our thanks to Pauline.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It almost felt like you were on a house boat more than anything. It’s nothing fancy, but offers all of the essentials one needs.
The property is in a great location and easy to get to town or the wine trail.
We wish we had more time to stay and play. We would recommend a stay here to anyone.
Thanks for sharing the place with us!
Great little getaway cabin
This was a nice little cabin and Pauline was great at answering any questions we had quickly. She was also very thoughtful and left us a nice wedding card and chocolate bar. The property was well cared for and we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property.
This property met and exceeded all of our expectations. It is RIGHT on the water and you feel very secluded both inside and out by the fire pit. It is perfect for a couples weekend and my wife and I would stay there an entire week next time!!! The kitchen is very nice and the yard is perfect. It is close to Seneca Falls and the Cayuga wine trail. Geneva is a 20 minute drive and is a nice little town to visit. It was everything that we could have hoped for and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice cozy place for a getaway.
Quaint setting for a couple that wants to connect and enjoy nature.
My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. We arrived to find a very clean place (we read it elsewhere and I'll reiterate that if you do not like bugs then maybe staying at a place this close to a lake is not the smartest choice) and Pauline even left us some chocolate and a card congratulating us on our marriage!
There was nothing better to end our day with than to fish, grill some steak, listen to our favorite music, and enjoy a campfire all in one spot!
As far as the accuracy of the listing, it was a bit confusing. It seems to be listed as a rental with two locations, but we were only given one. This was also our first time renting a place in this fashion, so it could have been a misunderstanding on our end.
Other than some confusion with the listing we absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it!
I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. You are right the boathouse is right on the water so right in the middle of the riparian zone between land and water so life of all kinds, fish, birds and yes insects is abundant. The insects feed the birds and fish. Most of these insects don't bother people.
Thanks for your comments on the confusion, I will work on clarifying.
All the best,
Birder's paradise at the north end of Cayuga Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine country, near historic Seneca Falls, Erie Canal bikeway, and outlet mall shopping.
