The best of Lago Di Garda
We were looking for a good value apartment located halfway berween desenzano and riva. It had to be very close to the lake as we love beach holidays. This holiday rental was perfect. It is just 30 mins drive from Limone via the spectacular tunnels of the shoreline highway. Our hosts were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a menorable one. The apartment was a good size for our family of four. The furnishings were good and the 2 bathrooms were very handy. No air con but plenty of fans and with the large lounge windows open we had a gentle breeze running through the place in no time. Tha harbour at Toscalano Maderno is right outside the door...restaurants and bars within 30 seconds of leaving the apartment. Plus, there is a very well stocked supermarket just a few minutes away on foot. Being close to all shops and bars meant we could hear them too from the lounge but that wasnt a major issue in the evening because the bedrooms are set back from the main street. The beds were spot on and our daughters said their room was a lovely room to share. There's a sofa bed in the large lounge too if you have more guests. ....The view across the bay from the lounge is what a holiday at Garda is all about... Look out on the lake each morning or evening... and savour your time away in one of the world's most beautiful places. Thànks for a truly memorable holiday.
