Kitchen/Diner – Lovely open-plan cooking and eating space equipped with large dining table and chairs, kettle, toaster, double oven, hob, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. (Private Chef available on request).

Conservatory – Sunshine and sofa-filled chill out space.

Fantastic location

Loved staying at this house and it felt like home straight away.Avis was very helpful with any queries and left a thoughtful welcoming touch of tea and lemon drizzle cake not to mention the beautiful flowers & milk in the fridge.I would definitely recommend this property and it was literally 250m to Fistral Beach and a 20 minute walk in to Newquay town so a great location.Stayed with 10 of us.

A great second stay

When we arrived at the 29th Aug. 2017 for the second time a well prepared and comfortable house was waiting for us. The contact with Avis (owner) was always very friendly and uncomplicated. And well also our comment after first stay in 2014 about the squeaking metal bed had found a happy end: a new wooden bed in the sleeping room down stairs.

Our Teenagers were absolutely happy about the free Wifi in the house.

Fistral beach is wonderful and so close to the house. The Kids enjoyed Surfing lessons with the Newquay Activity Centre . The Red Lion was their favorite Restaurant, but also Rick Stein and The Stable at Fistral Beach can be highly recommended. The house works very well for 8 persons.

And who knows - maybe we will return.

Spot on!!

Nice location,Fistral beach on your doorstep, 15-20 minutes walk in to town along beach path or main road and the Crantock just behind the house. Facilities at the house were good, although both upstairs bedrooms could do with a tv. We had 10 people in the house in total with adults and children, but to be honest 10 was a couple to many really for the size of the house, but all in all a lovely property in a nice location, with everything you need, and a great time had by all and would 100% re book again.

Mackerel Skies, Fistral Beach, Newquay

What a lovely beach house! Walking distance to the famous Fistral Beach and yet in a quiet location. The house is updated and well equipped. The decoration is trendy, "beachy" and tasteful. There is plenty of glassware and table ware to host a party and the linen and towels are hotel standard. We had a wonderful family reunion during that single warm week in July! Perfect!

Stunning

My family and I stayed here over October half term, and were not disappointed. The house is in a great location, and the boys enjoyed (very) early morning walks along the beach. The welcome we received, in the form of home made scones, clotted cream and jam for a beautiful cream tea, were very much appreciated, and tasted lovely. The house is a great size, and everything is finished to a high standard. We had an amazing time and can't wait to rebook.
