Beautifully decorated apartment in the old part of Annecy with views of a carousel and canal and steps from the lake. We really enjoyed listening to some of the owner's classic albums. The beds and bedding were quite comfortable, and the shower great. Though the kitchen wasn't fully stocked, it had enough tools to get the job done. The tv didn't work, and there was no dvd player, which would have been nice for the kids in the evening, but we spent much of our time out, so it wasn't a big deal. I do wish there was a hairdryer in the apartment, since it was very cold. A big thank you to Mathilde for her kindness and flexibility!
Overall, we loved the apartment for its' location and decor and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
I thought that the property was adequate, though nothing about it wowed me. It was a wonderful location and within walking distance to almost everything in Annecy so that was lovely. Also, the fact that the Monoprix shop was within a block was nice. The bedrooms were extremely small, with the washer located in one bedroom, so not very convenient for doing laundry. There was no drying rack available. There were no supplies left in the apartment, so we needed to buy toilet paper and detergent. I felt that the apartment was adequate and did the job, but nothing special.
Mike's apartment is clean and spacious. Our party of four was very comfortable. We had every single thing we needed. Parking is close, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is usable and the bathrooms are clean. The location simply can not be beat and we spent some lovely time just hanging out on the balcony drinking wine and watching the people. Grocery store is close as are many food options. Access to the highways to go anywhere is close and not difficult. Aurore, our contact in Annecy was always available by text or email and pleasant to work with. I recommend this apartment 100%!
We had a wonderful stay and a great experience in Michael's flat! Responses to our needs were usually within minutes and always less than 24 hrs. The size and location were perfect for our four person needs and we didn't need to pay for parking since parking near the Hotel de Police offered free parking if you could find it! We would absolutely stay here again as the proximity to everything was perfect and the views allowed us to cheer from our windows for triathletes going by, winners of the Eurocup and concerts in front of the Hotel de Ville! Was wonderful to see old friends and make new memories with our family. Thank you!
mountains , lakes - perfect!
