Location

Casa Campanilla is situated far enough away from the shops and bars to be a lovely quiet sanctuary but close enough to be only a 5 minute walk to the Bellaluz supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants or a 15 minute walk to the main Las Sabinas commercial centre with numerous bars, shops, restaurants and bank.

La Manga's private beach cove, La Cala is just over a kilometre away and the sandy beaches and warm tranquil waters of the Mar Menor are just a 10 minute drive.

Casa Campanilla

Our villa oozes comfort and style having been completely refurbished in 2013. From the reserved parking immediately outside the property the front door leads to a large open plan kitchen with new appliances and contemporary units and lighting. The adjoining lounge has two settees, a stylish coffee table, a 40” Samsung flat screen TV, central ceiling fan and full air conditioning. There is an ipod dock and a blu ray player with usb connection to play films etc.. Patio doors lead to the balcony terrace with rattan table and chairs and built in BBQ.

Go upstairs to the large roof terrace equipped with 2 sun beds and wonderful panoramic views stretching from the surrounding mountains to the still waters of the Mar Menor, Europe's largest salt water lagoon. Go downstairs to the bedrooms with the master bedroom, large double bed with its carved wood headboard and matching chest of drawers and bedside tables, full air conditioning, ceiling fan and double door access to the terrace and pool. The adjoining fully tiled en suite bathroom has a large walk in shower, vanity unit, wc, electric towel rail and downlighters. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, white bedside tables and chest of drawers, full air conditioning, ceiling fan and double door access to the terrace and pool. A separate fully tiled bathroom with full sized bath, shower attachment and screen, vanity unit, wc, electric towel rail and washing machine completes the internal accommodation.

Externally Casa Campanilla offers privacy and comfort at the front with mature plants and hedging screening the large sun terrace equipped with rattan recliner seats and table making it a wonderful setting for a long lazy lunch. In addition to the roof terrace and balcony terrace there is a smaller terrace outside the bedrooms which then leads to the pool and sun lounger area with straw parasols.

El Rancho

Comprising 150 detached and semi detached villas built in traditional Spanish style, El Rancho is set in the heart of La Manga and is much sought after as the friendliest of communities. There are 9 pools, the nearest within 30 yards of our villa but you can use any of these pools exclusively reserved for owners and guests.

La Manga Club

The Club was formed in 1972 but is in the process of being reinvented with a dynamic new management team planning many enhancements. Already Ampersand, a stylish new restaurant, club and bar has opened to great reviews. Major improvements to the golf practice ground and courses have been carried out following the appointment of Gary Silcock as the director of golf with the clear objective of establishing La Manga Club as the undisputed premier golf and tennis resort in Europe. Facilities are too numerous to name but include three championship golf courses, a David Leadbetter golf academy, par 47 pitch and putt and crazy golf. There are 28 multi surface tennis courts also used by elite teams for training camps, a 2000 sq ft spa with beauty treatments, indoor pool and fitness centre as well as extensive football and cricket training facilities and children’s camps. Combine the 20 restaurants and bars, shops, banks, petrol station, pharmacy and medical centre with the wonderful Mediterranean climate and you have everything to make for a perfect holiday. Guests also benefit from discounted rates for golf and tennis.

Getting There

Murcia Airport (San Javier) served by easyjet and ryanair is just 25 minutes drive or taxi away with Alicante Airport served by easyjet, ryanair, monarch and british airways being around 60-75 minutes. We are happy to recommend and organise car hire and taxi companies.

Management Company

Our excellent management company will ensure that you have a first class welcome and will be on hand should you need any assistance during your stay.

Safety & Security

La Manga club prides itself on being a family friendly destination. From the security gates at the entrance to the 24 hour patrols by the Club’s own security guards you can be assured of feeling safe and secure at all times. The Club’s medical centre is fully resourced with English speaking doctor’s available daily and hospital facilities in Cartagena.

About Jane

We have been coming to La Manga since our children were young and have always loved it as a safe, child friendly environment with so much for all the family to do. We both still work full time in the UK but spend as much time as we can at Casa Campanilla.

Why Jane chose Murcia - Costa Calida

When we saw this villa we fell in love with it and thought it had everything in terms of location where we can drive straight up to it, the pool 30 yards away and shops, bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We spent a lot of time planning the refurbishment to maintain the character whilst modernising throughout in a contemporary style.

What makes this villa unique

We love sitting on the roof terrace in the early evening watching the Mar Menor with a glass or a little later when it’s dark with the lights twinkling in the distance. The front terrace is a lovely sun trap for lunch but with the 4 terraces you will always find shade when you want it. BBQ’s on the balcony add a special touch. Our villa is furnished to a very high standard as it’s our home and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Fantastic holiday

Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa. It is very well equipped with all that you would require. We particularly liked the quiet location and nearby pool.It was a bonus having a shaded balcony to escape the sun but we also loved the comfy loungers on the roof terrace. The villa has fabulous views over the Club and Mar Menor and we hope to stay here again on our return to La Manga. Jane and Mark were very easy and helpful to deal with. We had a fab time

Absolutely beautiful location, fabulous villa.

The Villa is set in a beautiful location, with the lovely quiet pool just a few steps away. There is every facility you would need, all delightfully well presented, it was immaculate inside, the service from the local agent was easy and efficient and the owners were just so nice to deal with. This was our best La Manga experience yet and we will definitely book again.

Best la Manga holiday ever 😎

We have just returned from 2 wonderful weeks in this beautiful home. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. Beautifully renovated and fitted with everything you could need and more. High standard of cleanliness and great management company if you have any queries. Perfect location for the pool and views. Jane is fantastic at arranging everything and always responds quickly. First class accommodation.

the villa certainly lived up to our expectations and is exactly as advertised. Extremely clean, modern and well furnished and located right by one of the 9 pools. We consider El Rancho to be the best positioned area within La Manga, with only a short walk to all restaurants etc. Both the owners and the management company were extremely helpful from start to finish and we hope to return again next year.

Stylish and comfortable retreat in the sun

Lovely, stylish and clean villa with breezy balconies and wonderful access to shared pool. All the desired conveniences like dishwasher and washing machine. Luxury ensuite bathroom in double bedroom. Great local management team and resort overall provides good eating choices as well as shops for self-catering. Cabo de Palos best local spot for restaurants and Mediterranean beach access (not as crowded or commercialised as La Manga strip). Perfect relaxing week for our family of two adults and two teenage girls.

A lovely family holiday

We stayed at here for a week with our two year old son. The villa was beautiful with fantastic views and it was great to have the pool and gardens just outside. Really good location too - quiet, but only 5 minutes walk from the bars and restaurants in Bellaluz. Also enjoyed driving down to the beach at Mar de Cristal which is great for kids.

Would definitely recommend the villa and hope to return soon!
