This property has a nautical theme when you enter the front door into the living/dining room, large table to seat 6 persons, 3&2 seater sofas, flatscreen TV, chest of drawers, chest full of kids toys.

The rest of the ground level consists of Kitchen that has 4 burner cooker/oven, fridge, microwave, pots, pans, utensils, etc.

3rd bedroom with bunk beds, toilet shower/bath sink.

Upstairs there is the 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds, the master bedroom has large double bed with storage cupboard.

Brand new garden furniture, BBQ, flat wide screen TV with many channels. Living/dinning room, new decor, new carpet in 3rd bedroom and hallway. Electricity is by £1 coin meter located in kitchen. On arrival, go to reception where you will be issued with a temporary parking permit, if you arrive outside office hours you can collect the next day. Access into lodge after 4pm on arrival day, vacate by10am on departure.

The chalet was homely and clean, and The owner was responsive to queries. The location was lovely and peaceful - and it was great to swim each day in the pool

Perfect place to stay ,very nice surounding

What a nice town , Kingsdown . Perfect location tot visit the Kent Coast . 2 min walk to the beach with a lovely Pub . Very child friendly park. Everything in the lodge was there what you needed. ( only a manual would be handy , for electric meter, and tv.etc. ) But is a very nice lodge to stay, with 3 childeren we planty of room for all.

We enjoyed our selves , a week was to short ! Thanks Les

Great location!

Great location, nice, well kept site. Had an enjoyable weekend and the lodge accommodated our family of four adults fine. The location of the lodge was ideal and the patio was lovely for sitting out in the sun. Owner prompt in responding and good to deal with.

Nice holiday park near Deal with nice house.

Good place to stay with chirldren the swimmingpool is good. But it closes at 17 our. It is near the beach although it is a stone beach. You can walk very nice. The house itself has a great kitchen. Unfortunally the house was not so clean, there was a lot of dust in de corners etc.

The sleeping rooms were good. The holiday park is clean and the area is very nice. So it is a very good place for the holiday.

Owner's Response: Very unfortunate the guests found the lodge not to be as clean as it should have been. I take cleanliness of the lodge very seriously, it has to be of the highest standard, guests deserve and expect this, on this occasion it was not achieved, the cleaner in question has now been replaced, I'll be monitoring the cleaning of the lodge personally, rest assured there will be an improvement.

A lovely spot - would happily go back.

Stayed here with my wife & kids (17, 10 & 7) for 5 nights in July & really enjoyed it. The lodge is situated in a holiday park, tucked away in a small village only a short distance from Deal. Once you find the park - the entrance looks a little like a private road, though it is marked by a short brown signpost opposite with what I later found is one of those "visit England"-type symbols - you park the car in the car park (plenty of space) & walk up through the park, past the tennis courts / table tennis table / playground & combined Reception / Swimming Pool / Games Room / Bar / laundrette complex. The lodges are spread out nicely throughout the park (which was immaculately maintained during our visit). As we booked directly with the owner, we didn't need to register at Reception on the way in.

This lodge overlooks one of the main green areas & literally looks down on the complex - it really is just seconds away. Despite that, we were not disturbed at all at night. Without exception, other visitors were very considerate at night and we only heard a couple of quiet conversations of people passing on their way home at night.

Inside the lodge were all the facilities you could want. The satellite TV was great, there was a DVD player & VCR, as well as microwave & radio in the kitchen. The single electric oven and 4-plate electric hob worked great. You should be aware that electricity is via a coin meter, so a small supply of £1 coins is necessary (we only used about £5 or £6 in 5 days, including use of the electric shower and cooking every day). Bedrooms were spot on, with all bed linen & towels being brand new (with labels still attached!). Beds were comfortable too.

Kids loved going to the pool - though there are no fancy slides, it was clean & pretty warm & was supervised by 2 lifeguards at all times. The booking system for the tennis courts worked well - first come first served if not booked. Equipment can be hired from Reception as required - we weren't 100% sure how it'd work but all facilities available to those directly booked with park were available to those booked with owners.

It's only fair to say too that our dealings with Les (owner) were 100% positive - he was responsive, helpful and pleasant & on our experience I'd recommend dealing with him to anyone. He was also very quick to ask me for my opinion and for hints of any way to make the experience better, so that future guests would have a better stay.

We would happily go back.

Knus, goed onderhouden huisje

Het chalet is door de praktische indeling groter dan de buitenkant doet geloven. Wij hebben het met ons gezin met drie kinderen prima naar ons zin gehad. Het huisje was schoon en voorzien van een goed gefasciliteerd keukentje. Bovendien was er een bbq aanwezig waar wij een paar keer gebruik van hebben gemaakt. De bedden waren redelijk en ondanks dat het een tweekapper is, is de woning niet gehorig. Het park, dat keurig wordt onderhouden, is gelegen op een fantastische lokatie met tal van bezienswaardigheden op nog geen uur rijden. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het zwembad is klein, maar een leuk extraatje.
