Very nice fully furnished duplex, in a secure modern complex, ideally located only 20 m from the beach of Olhos d'Agua, in a typical old fishing village, in the district of Albufeira.

The private condominium is located in the pedestrian street which leads to the beach, so it’s ideal for children.

It combines the peace of a quiet place and the proximity of all the conveniences: restaurants, supermarket, bakery, pharmacy,... and is not far from golfs (unless 10 min by foot) or the nightlife of Albufeira (6 km).

The complex offers a swimming pool and a separated kids splash pool, a lift, an intercom, a closed covered parking lot (you will have 2 individual places).

The 3-rooms apartment is on the 2nd floor, very well equipped and furnished, fully air-conditioned, it offers very beautiful internal and outside areas :

- a twin bedroom in suite with a private terrace, including 1 double bed 140 and 1 single bed 90 with a private bathroom equipped with a bathtub, a washbasin, a bidet and toilet,

- a bedroom with a double bed 150, a cupboard,

About Mrs Cailleux

We are a French-Portuguese family with 3 children who live in Paris. We spend our holidays for 15 years in the center of Algarve.

We love everything of the Algarve : the climate summer and winter alike, the gastronomy, the sympathy of the portugueses, the beautiful fine sand beaches, the paths along the coast, the freshness of the Serra de Monchique and the medieval ferias of Silves, the wild islands which surround the lagoon da Ria Formosa, the desert of the cape St Vincent, the history of Sagres, the boat trips...

The children like quite particularly the aquatic parks, the Zoo Marine, the circuit of kart of Almancil...

Finally, we appreciate just as much to have within reach of hands the comfort and the modern infrastructures of an European country.

Because we really like very much Algarve, we intend even to move there one day...

Why Mrs Cailleux chose Albufeira

After spending holidays in central Algarve for 15 years, we decided to buy a property. We chose this residence because the location is exceptional and it is one of the last new modern building having been built in sea front.

We fell under the fisherman's village of Olhos d’Agua and its eponym beach who knew how to keep their traditional character.

The name ' Olhos d' Agua ' means ' eyes of water ', it comes from the fresh water springs that rise in the beach.

When you leave the building, you are on a pedestrian street which allows you a direct access to the beach. It offers you numerous snack bars, ice-cream bars and restaurants where you can have an outdoor drink in the terrace to contemplate the horizon.

The pedestrian street continues on a walk lined with palm trees along the beach to arrive at the huts of traditional fishermen with lovely colored boats on the banister of launch.

You do not have more than to take advantage of grilled sardines or seafood platter to the restaurant ' La Cigale ' or simply a ' bica ' (strong coffee).

If you like sport, in low tide you can walk (or run) on the fine sand during almost 7 km until famous Vilamoura, its casino and its marina.

If you love marine life, you can observe between tides : limpets, topshells, buckshot barnacles, sea anemones and brightly coloured seaweed. The jagged rock formations give rise to isolated group of rocks, undercutting, archess, cavities and small sheltered coves, especially at the western end of the beach.

If you play golf, you can reach in 10 min on foot Balaia Golf, course of 9 holes. Approximately 18 golf, on 36 that offers Algarve, are situated unless 20 min by car.

If you are fond of night parties, Albufeira is accessible unless 5 min by car or by the local bus 'EVA' nearby.

What makes this apartment unique

Olhos d’Agua offers in the same time the peace and the charm of an old fishermen's village and the proximity of all the urban conveniences.

Its central location in Algarve allows to have a fast access to the airport (30 km), to visit the west coast until the Cap Sao Vicente (1h10 by A22), or to leave eastward to Castro Marim (50 min).

Algarve is a magnificent region which offers a big diversity of landscapes, atmospheres, activities, climate. That is why, everybody can spend of excellent holidays there and compose so its own souvenirs. If you wish, we can recommend you addresses or major sites, according to your tastes.

The duplex was carefully fitted out, it is functional and very well equipped. He allows to take advantage completely of holidays all year round: the system of air-conditioning in all the rooms brings some freshness in summer and heating for the colder months of winter.

You take advantage of an exceptional view from the private terrace or from the swimming pool fitted out with green spaces. Private parking lot closed for 2 cars.

Towels, bed linen and cleaning are included in the price of the rent. Towels are changed twice a week, linen of bed changed once a week.

The both bedrooms are equipped with a cupboard closet double sliding doors. 2 more sleepings in confortable sofa bed. There are two bathrooms. One in the both floors of the duplex, with bathtube ou shower and toilet. Very well fully furnished kitchen Voluminous combined fridge, freezer with 3 drawers Beautiful comfortable table 90 x 150 for 6 stretchable in 230 for 8, with 6 chairs and a sideboard. A second outside table allows to have lunch in terrace, with 6 more chairs. Air conditioning into both bedrooms and in the lounge and dining room. Reversible air conditioning system All the linen is included in the price of the rent, changed once a week. Supplied bath towels, changed twice a week. Be careful, beach towels are not furnished. Closed underground parking lot, for 2 medium-sized cars

Really lovely apartment, near everything but not to noisy at night

Modern and very clean apartment in a great location, apart from supermarket 10 mins gentle walk away, everything else is just out the door.Quiet pools with great views from elevated position.Had a small problem with washing machine during stay but owners very helpful.Really enjoyed stay and would certainly go back in the future.

Lovely apartment in an ideal location

This apartment is perfectly located and is well equipped. The owner is lovely too and came to meet us quite late on arrival. We stayed for a family holiday and found the local bars/restaurants were great with the kids and the small child's pool next to the main one was perfect for us too. Olhos D'Agua gives you a perfect base to explore nearby Villamoura and Albufeira as well.

The only reason for not giving 5* was that the BBQ is electric only which was very disappointing given that this is not advertised as such. This probably would not be an issue to most people but we felt this should be mentioned in the description.

Great location,views with easy access to the beach.

Ideal location for beach,shops and restaurants in Olhos. Very clean spacious apartment with everything needed for a self catering break, good views,an excellent spot for 'people watching'. Though it's right in the centre it isn't overly noisy from the surrounding bars/restaurants.

The location was wonderful. We were a bit confused at first as we put the location into our GPS and it took us to a condo to Guia. Thank goodness Bernadette corrected us to go to Ohlos de Aqua! The condo was great for 4 adults. We had a beautiful balcony and several nice restaurants nearby. We had to go out to buy toilet paper, paper towels and soap, but otherwise the condo was well equipped. Russell and Bernadette were loverly and friendly people.

It was the first time in 4 years that it happens to our guests, even for guests from north America. The name of the street, "25 Abril", is very common in Portugal, so because of that it is important to precise the name of the city "Olhos de Agua" in your GPS, or to use the GPS coordinates that I sent to you. Hopefully, you find it quickly! I am really sorry for the toilet paper, I will inform the cleaning lady about that missing. As we provide 2 towels by guest, we do not use to provide paper towels. But we are going to ask to our other guest what they think about that, and we will maybe change our policy and provide soap too. We are very concerned by the satisfaction of our guests, and we are always ready to improve our service. Bernadette & Vincent
