Fantastic rural retreat

South facing cosy stone built cottage overlooking the Galician countryside, yet within easy reach of Pontenova for shops and bars. Ideal for walking our dogs from the door with many other walks within easy reach. The cottage was well equipped and the dogs loved the garden. Salvador, the owner, met us and showed us around, and left us basic essentials including a bottle of very pleasant red wine.

The best!!!

My stay at Casa Quitapenas was a wonderful vacation. It is clean, in a beautiful setting, and was exactly as promised. The host, Salvador, was very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. I wish I had been able to stay longer - I hope I can stay at Casa Quitapenas again when I return to Spain. Thank you, Salvador, for everything - Mi estancia en Casa Quitapenas fue unas vacaciones maravillosas. Está limpio, en un hermoso entorno, y fue exactamente como se prometió. El anfitrión, Salvador, fue muy amable y se aseguró de que tuviera todo lo que necesitaba. Casa Quitapenas ... QUE BIEN !

Pour résumer: Vacances SUPER Petite maison perdue bien au calme dans une nature verdoyante, entourée de forets d'eucalyptus et de prés. Petite peut-être mais la maison a tout d'une grande, propre et équipée de tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour agréable. Quand aux propriétaires ils sont au diapason, charmants, souriants et à l'écoute de leurs hôtes, difficile de faire mieux. Et ce ne sont pas nos chiens qui vont nous contredire, eux aussi sont toujours sous le charme de leurs vacances. Bref nous avons tous hâte d'y retourner et nous le ferons très certainement.
