This ground level apartment is perfect get-away for 2-6 guests, right inside the White Mountains area of NH. We are situated within a quaint complex of gingerbread style cottages, which was once a bustling motel in the 50's and 60's. It features a full kitchen, large flat screen TV, 2 queen size beds , a pull out Queen size sofa bed, and a large modern shower unit with rain shower head. We are a short 5 min walk to Pemigewassett river, which boasts Summer-time swimming and gorgeous views of Blair Bridge during all seasons. The property is adjacent to the Blair Woodlands Conservation area, with a few trails for a quick morning or after-dinner woods-walk. Plymouth, a short 7 minute drive, is a quaint New England College town, complete with some great restaurants, and shops, and a grocery store. Loon Mountain and Waterville Valley skiing is a short 25 min drive. And there's plenty of world class hiking all around us, also, horseback riding, snow shoeing, kayaking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice-climbing, and more. About Jennifer and Scott Legier
We moved our family to this area in Summer for 2015 from Southern California. We came for the beauty and the life-long dream of living in this beautiful area. Jennifer has a background in design and textiles and has worked hard to make our rental as homey as possible. Scott, a massage therapist, works locally at The Common Man spa, come see him for a discounted hour of relaxation (extended to our guests), or opt for an in-home massage.

Why Jennifer and Scott Legier chose Campton
We are ideally situated minutes off the highway, with easy access to the Lakes Region, or the White Mountain Region. We are located midway between them. Come for hiking, horseback riding, skiing, snow mobiling, leaf-peeping, rock-climbing, swimming, fishing, kayaking, tubing, treasure-hunting, or our assortment of fabulous restaurants in our area. Our home is light, bright and airy, and very comfortable. We are located on the premises, for immediate attention to any issues, or for questions or suggestions. We love catering to our guests! Don't hesitate to ask!
What makes this Apartment unique
Our tiny complex was once a bustling motel and boasts quaint picturesque little cabins situated in a half-moon shape around our main house. The charm of the area was what led us to purchase the home. It is almost like stepping back in time to a simpler era. People who have visited us remark about its "fairytale-like qualities" especially in the winter time when each tiny cabin has a rooftop crowned with snow.

The owners were very accommodating and nice
I wish I had more time to explore the area but what I did experience, something of beauty. The house was clean and well kept. Quite area, amazing river that runs behind the house and walking trails. I can’t wait to come back to explore again!!!
Cozy apartment in old school A-frame lot
Went to Campton specifically to go hiking in the white mountains. The weather forecast looked really bad and Scott was great about responding to my concerned messages wondering about what to do in case our plans were blown. In the end the weather held out and all was well. Would've loved to stay longer than 2 nights and go swimming in the river/check out other stuff in the area. Scott was a very nice host and I feel like they really know how to run a good apartment rental. All details seemed tended to. Definitely recommend.
Very clean and very homey feeling. Owners are wonderful people.
We stayed here as a 3 day layover before spending a week in Maine. The pictures on the website were a little confusing showing individual cottages. Those cottages are not where you stay. We stayed in the basement apartment of the owners residence. That being said it was a very nice apartment and perfect for us to use as a home base for sight seeing New Hamshire and Vermont. We were very comfortable there. Everything you could possibly need was there. The shower was amazing, very modern, easy to go in and out of. We never heard the owners in our apartment, however the last night we were there someone must have been in the unit above us. They were very noisy. There was a great restaurant right on the river within walking distance of the apartment. Jennifer and Scott were very helpful with any questions we had for them. They are a very nice couple. I would definitely stay there again on our next trip.
Newly renovated Quaint chalet
Very accommodating owners and eclectically designed space. Great place to be centrally located to explore the area
Very cute and quiet
the property was the bottom floor of a giant A-frame. The unit was clean and up to date. All appliances and amenities you could ask for. One huge bedroom, one more reasonably sized one. The owners live on site (upstairs) and were extremely nice and accessible. We didn't hear a peep our entire stay. The whole property was beautiful and very peaceful.
Our area is home to many wonderful activities and festivals during the year. In the Winter months, we have the Ice Harvest Festival, ice fishing derbies, and ice hockey tournaments, as well as the Ice Castle in Lincoln, a handcrafted wonderland constructed completely of ice. In the Summer months, enjoy activities like outdoor farmer's markets, The Flume and The Basin nature areas (for fantastic natural water features), Bike Week, Squam Science Center, Squam Lakes Association and the annual Mushroom Fest. Additionally, you can always find fun talks scheduled on a variety of subjects. Some fun recent examples are, bee-keeping, maple sugaring, local dragon fly identification, celestial navigation, and women in the White Mountains at the turn of the century. Or get a taste of Americana at one of our regularly meeting square dancing/contra dancing groups. Our local vintage theater, The Flying Monkey, invites an eclectic mix of local and national headlining musicians, silent films, documentaries, talks, and community events. There's always something fun going on there. Loon Mountain Ski is 25 mins North, and we are 20 mins from Waterville Valley. Cannon is 30 mins north. Meredith (Lake Winnipesaukee) is 25 mins from us.The Flume and the Basin are both about 25 mins from us. World class rock climbing is about 15 mins from us. Kanacamagus scenic highway starts 25 mins North. The Polar Caves are 10 mins. We are the most ideal location, halfway between mountains and the Lake Region. Come for one area, or both! There are amazing hiking trails all around us, and the best Fall leaf-peeping around.
