The outdoor areas are definitely the “brand image” of Casa dos Pátios and Casa da Graça in Ericeira.
Said areas shall provide you all you have wished for during your holidays: such as having a long pleasant breakfast in the sun, eating a delicious grilled fish at lunch, having a nice and well deserved nap in the fresh air or preparing that memorable summer dinner for your friends. Everything in the open air!
Great location for families, wonderful beaches within easy reach and lots of good restaurants to choose from.
The house was not ready at the agreed arrival time but once we did get into the property it had been cleaned well.
The kitchen although clean was tired, (cupboard door with tinfoil ball substituting a handle, fridge leaking on floor, chipped crockery, broken bins), there was plenty of cutlery and water glasses but no wine glasses!
The lounge was comfortable, nice courtyard although smaller than pictures suggest. The overall downstairs accommodation was sufficient for 4 adults and 2 children but any more in our opinion would be a struggle.
All the bedroom linen was fresh and clean and rooms where an adequate size.
The biggest annoyance was that none of the showers worked as they should, the only one which could be used without holding the shower head did not have a shower curtain?! Not great!! Not forgetting the broken towel rail...
Luckily we didn't have to use the three bedded room upstairs as the staircase was rather challenging, some may say dangerous...
In addition the close proximity of the separate annex, overlooking the courtyard and both parties could overhear each other's conversations.
Despite the disappointing accommodation, we still enjoyed Ericeria very much and plan to return but not to Casa dos Patios.
perfect location, near the public parking, the town centre and some of the most popular beaches and restaurants
nice owner and good suggestions to go all over the town and know the local spots
lovely property, cool and comfortable enough for a huge family or a group of friends; it was clean and well maintained, though some staff in the kitchen should be renewed
we have been very happy in CASA DOS PATIOS and felt like at home!
The house was very well placed in the town giving walking access to all amenities. The interior photos on the site don't do it justice and we were really please and surprised as to how big and well laid out it was. We met the owner Tiago and he was really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, few bits needed attention and these were dealt with ASAP.
We would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully return at some point soon!
Me and my family had a wonderful time in this lovely house, last week!
The house is located right in the center of Ericeira - a small village with nice people, great athmosphere - tasteful fishes, 5* restaurantes, awsome beaches for familes and sufers!
Casa dos Pátios is big, functional and has plenty of space for a large group, and very cosy at the same time.
Charming, very nice decorated, with lots of natural light.
The courtyards are so lovely and well-maintained, with beautiful flowers and vivid greens! It is great to open the windows early in the morning and let that freshness coming in.
Kitchen is well equiped, it has everything you need.
The bathrooms are really good with a great shower.
Beds and matresses are TOP, clean and comfy, as well as the rest of the house.
Our son of 1 year and a half, loved the courtyards, which have a great space to play, and to have big meals. Even better when we used the berbecue!
The owner Ana Margarida is very helpful and extremely nice, and gave us a big and warm welcome.
Tiago, her son, also managed to be there too just to meet us.
Both were super nice and relaxed people, and gave us a lot of suggestions for places to go and do. Miss you already!
The process of reservation went smoothly with André, who was very helpful too, quick and prompt in everything we needed to know!
We have no doubt that we will come back, to Casa dos Pátios, for sure.
I can recommend it to everyone.
I would give a LOT MORE stars if it was possible!
See you next time Ana Margarida and Tiago!
We hired out both this property and another one, Casa da Graca for a week for a family wedding. We have a large group and needed the space for the numerous young children to run around. Both properties were great for this with good outdoor space to allow us to open the doors and let the children run free.
From the off, the service we received was sensational. André patiently and quickly answered all our queries running up to our holiday and on arrival we were met by the very friendly owner, Ana Margarida who showed us around both properties and provided a some insightful directions about the town.
The houses were great for our needs and were very well set up including the court yard and open lounge/dining room which provided plenty of space for the children to play in.
Upon leaving, we had an issue with the taxi that was due to pick us up with the provider refusing to answer our calls. As the time of our flight rapidly approached Ana Margarida gratefully stepped up and contacted the taxi company and proceeded to give them what I understood to be a firm dressing down about customer service. This seemed to do the trip with the taxis soon arriving and the family able to get to the airport on time.
We have a wonderful stay at Casa dos Patios and would 100% recommend it to anyone – we will definitely stay there again if we return to Ericeira
Thanks very much to Ana Margarida & Andre for helping make our holiday very enjoyable and taking the hassle out of booking
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette charmante villa au cœur de la ville. L' accueil de la propietaire a été très chaleureux.
Peut être un bémol:
Un equipement extérieur permettant d'accueillir au moins 8 personnes serait le bienvenu.
