Furnished and decorated to a high standard, Ceilidh has 4 bedrooms - 1 double bed and 6 single beds. There is a large L-shaped lounge/diner with TV and a separate sitting room with stereo. The house has one large bathroom and two shower rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. A 10 minute stroll in one direction leads to the centre of this traditional highland village, with various shops, cafes and pubs, whilst a 10 minute stroll in the other direction takes you to the hills around the village, with stunning scenery.
In Newtonmore itself is the Clan Macpherson museum and the Highland Folk Museum, with its nostalgic recreations of houses and a schoolroom from a bygone era. A few miles away is the Highland Wildlife Park, the Laggan Wolftrak, Loch Ness and the skiing centre at Aviemore. There are plenty of opportunities in the area for walking, skiing, climbing, sailing and sightseeing.
