A great apartment, comfortable, clean and modern.good communication with owner who is friendly.me and my wife stayed here for 10 days, and we're very happy.
Everything you need for a self catering holiday. Location is excellent we love walking therefore we were able to pick left towards torremolinos or right towards the harbour. Beach is 2min walk down the slope. 10min walk to train station. Lots of supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants the hardest part of your holiday is having to make the choice which to shop, eat or drink in. Only saw owner upon arrival was very friendly. All correspondence before our stay he was very informative and helpful.

It is a great and clean apartment, looks like on the picture and the hosts were really kind. Would always book it again and just can recommend it!
We have been staying in these apartments for a few years now, the first time in this renewed apartment. It is absolutely fabulous, spotlessly clean and well equipped with the lovely sea view from the large balcony. We keep coming back for many reasons; we love La Carihuela and it is only a short walk to the restaurants, bars and shops; we use the local transport all the time, there are frequent buses to Malaga, Fuengirola, even as far as Marbella, and the trip to Mijas with the amazing views is fabulous, an hour long trip for 3.30 Euro return! So a hire car is not necessary. The rates for the apartment rental are very reasonable too, and the owner Candido and his father are very friendly and helpful. We never get tired of returning to La Cascada! Sometimes it's hard to recommend so highly somewhere you love coming to - in case it becomes so fully booked we can't get in! But we do recommend it wholeheartedly.
Torremolinos is a town simply bursting with activity so you won't be struggling to fill your days here. The main attraction for the tourist is the ten kilometre stretch of sandy beach where you can sun soak, eat, drink, water ski, para-glide. Visit the old fishermen's district of La Carihuela where there's a great beach and some excellent chiringuitos (beach bars) with some of the best seafood dishes on the Costa.
Get to know the town of Torremolinos, starting with a jaunt along its main artery - the pedestrianised Calle San Miguel - where hundreds of European visitors gather to enjoy the hustle and bustle of this delightful shopping centre.
Pop into one of the Spanish bars to sample a delicious (and cheap) local fresh fish dish. At the end of the street you'll find an ancient tower, the only one still standing of those which gave the town its name.
For a great family day out there's the Torremolinos Aqua-park with rides, slides, pools and waterfalls.
Golf: A selection of excellent golf courses line to Costa del Sol coastline, near to Torremolinos. Many of the best golf courses are nearby Fuengirola, Marbella and Malaga.
Offering outstanding views of the Mediterranean sea and a range of golfing facilities, one of the most popular golf courses in the Torremolinos area is the Real Club de Campo de Malaga, which is situated on the outskirts of Torremolinos.
Here are the main golf courses in and around Torremolinos:
Torrequebrada Golf Club.
Alhaurin Golf and Country Club.
Atalaya Golf and Country Club.
El Paraiso Golf Club.
Guadalhorce Golf Club.
Lauro Golf Club.
Golf Rio Real.
Santa Maria Golf Club.
Ski: Sierra Nevada defies many concepts associated with skiing. Located barely a stone's throw from the Mediterranean coast, it has practically guaranteed sunshine, the best Spring snow conditions in Europe, and is still reasonably priced compared to many of its European counterparts.
As one of Europe's highest resorts it is (perhaps surprisingly) very snow sure and typically has a long season. Traditionally the season starts around the end of November running through to the end of April or even into the first week of May.
The ski terrain is majestically overlooked by the jagged glacier-formed Veleta peak, at 3,398m, Spain's third highest.
