About Vacasa of Tennessee

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Its amazing! You feel like home as soon as you walk in the door. View is breathtaking. Quiet and private area - not like in the cookie cutter section like others. Hated to leave!!!

Nice place

 • 4 of 5

Nice place good location. Just needed a some minor attention. None of the doors in the downstairs would shut...out of alignment (including the shower door). The towel ring was just laying on the sink counter when we got there. Overall nothing major. I would stay there sgain

Beautiful views but housekeeping could be better

 • 3 of 5

My family really enjoyed our Tennessee trip. The cabin positives as we saw it were that it had plenty of room with beautiful views and we enjoyed the games and playing pool. The negatives have to do mostly with the cleanliness. It could have been cleaned a little better. The shelf in the master bathroom was really dusty so you could tell it wasn’t cleaned prior to us getting there. The kitchen pots and pans really need to be updated. I thought from reading previous reviews complaining about this that when we got there we would see some upgrades but clearly not. If you’re spending a week you will most likely be cooking and we didn’t care to use what was there. Everything is pretty much in disarray in the bottom cabinets. The dryer vent was not cleaned so I cleaned it. The coffee pot was disgusting so I cleaned it really good. There are definitely mice in the cabin because we could hear them at night and saw their crumbs and holes in chip bags, as well as their “droppings” on the floor. Also disappointing was the tv in the master bedroom didn’t work properly so we could never watch tv in bed. My daughters kept finding spiders crawling down from the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom. I should also mention that the yard is not as well kept as the pictures show. All in all, yes it’s a beautiful cabin and we know it’s a “cabin” and not everything will be perfect but if the owner would listen to the reviews, specifically regarding the house cleaning, this cabin would get great reviews every time.

Owner's Response: We appreciate the guests feedback. This property is scheduled for a Spring Deep Clean, this includes inspecting all kitchen inventory and cleaning the unit from top to bottom. All ceiling fans and baseboards will be thoroughly cleaned. We have also just hired our own housekeepers instead of using outside vendors, our housekeepers are held to a very strict cleaning guideline, these cleaning issues will not happen in the future.

Perfect stay!

 • 5 of 5

My family had a wonderful time on vacation! The cabin was perfect in every way and allowed us to relax and take in God’s wonderful creation. The view was absolutely breathtaking!! I strongly encourage everyone to stay here. It is close to town yet far away enough to get privacy.

Great place (but a little room to improve)

 • 4 of 5

Pros: Great location! Secluded enough to be private but close enough to be convenient
Cozy bed (I slept so well that I thought about asking about the type of mattress it was)
View is gorgeous!
Good entertainment: pool table, game table, wi-fi and satellite
Hot tub was up and running beautifully
Good lighting outside for safety
Laundry area
Decorations very cute
Cons: Housekeeping! Food in daybed, mold in shower, small appliances dirty(a new fry pan is needed), cupboards/ doors and handles sticky and some of the doors especially the downstairs bathroom would not close properly.
Envelope for tipping housekeeper always seems strange to me, I feel like if I’m paying for a room that having it cleaned appropriately should just be the expectation.
Overall, I would stay again and for sure rate 5 stars if they amped up the care a tad

Nice property needs some updates

 • 3 of 5

The cabin was very nice and big. However, the appliances are dated but work fine. Upon arrival the place was not very clean dust and cobwebs a plenty. I even had to clean the toilet when I got there. We thought the hot water wasn’t working at first but it was just there is not enough to fill up even one of the large bathtubs. Overall, i would stay here again we enjoyed our time and the views just would like a better clean between guests. Also the cabin is met to sleep 8 people which it can but we stayed for a week and accumulated a lot of trash. There is two small bins outside to put trash in. We had no idea what to do when they were full and ended up having to leave 2 bags of trash in the kitchen.
